We're now halfway through the month of May. Most of us started hunting for Arcee back in January. There have been more sightings of here since then, but she's still incredibly difficult to find. The fact that Toys 'R Us doesn't carry her online doesn't help matters. Nor does the fact that the TRU exclusive seems to be only heading for the U.S.

The question of the day: Have you found her? And, if you did, what lengths did you go to seek her out?

Na-da. I kind of gave up when I heard Takara was making their own version of the figure. Then I really gave up when it was out of stock pre-order at BBTS. Oh well my friend from Sweden has quadruples of Arcee, he's sending one my way.

Nope. My TRU always has tons of the exclusive Cybertron-mode Ratchet, but never an Arcee.

I don't mean to brag, but I found Arcee on the first go in Allen TX back in April. Snagged her right away, since I knew she's gonna sell out quick. Since Cybertron Mode Ratchet is in the same case, 1:1 ratio I think, one can suspect scalpers if there are a lot of him around.

Nope, still no sign of her in Canada. I could just get her or Ratchet on eBay or elsewhere, but I guess I'll wait until Hasbro 'answers our burning questions'. If they don't even touch on it then...well, I'd say 'screw them, I'll get the Takara versions', but that's not an option either so scalpers it is... :roll:

I ebought her months ago. Haven't seen either her nor Ratchet in the meantime (live in Canada, near Toronto).

I just might have to do the same for Rodimus.

I picked up 2.

I bought one on ebay for around $20, which was my limit for a deluxe that was available but VHTF.

Then I actually found one on the pegs at TRU anout a month later and snagged her.

They are pretty rare, though.

Arcee, like most new transformers has not made it to New Zealand, and I very much doubt she ever will. Our shelves are crammed with animated and RoTF figures that simply will not sell, (at around 30 usd for a deluxe no wonder) Hasbro NZ told me we would be getting hunt for the Decepticons and PCC in June, but I am not holding my breath for Generations.

I was lucky enough to swing by TRU during the magic hour between them stocking and the scalpers coming in. She is ridiculously hard to find, I went by TRU a few days ago and there were about 15 Ratchets and no Arcees.

I have all but given up on my search for her in the wild. Since TRUs are tough to find around here as it is, and the ones I do have access to have the worst possible stocking regimine that I have ever seen in ANY retail environment...I guess it is because, in the St Louis area, most of the existing TRUs are in the deepest ghettos and no one DARES park their car in the lot or they are sure to get broken into! There is only ONE that I would venture into at any time of day, and they don't ever have anything anyways!

I have suspended the search til I get to BotCon, and most likely I will have to pay a beautiful dollar for her there! Damnit! :BOOM:

I've had mine about two months now. It wasn't too bad to get her once I got the UPC. I just kept calling.

I have one but ended up getting mine on eBay i think for 20 with free shipping. the free shipping helped a lot, i didn't feel quite as bent over. Though I did pick up the cybertron ratchet easy, Times Square ToyRus had a wall of them!

I'm planning on picking up Animated stuff if I get the new job that seems to be coming up (it'll mean I don't have to sell the remainder of my collection, too!) and Arcee and Rodimus are top of the wants list.

I finally got one thanks to a hook up from a local collector. There have been an increased amount of sightings, too. However, they still seem to be flying off the shelves just as fast so the scalpers are still winning the battle.

Considering there's a new run of matte colored Arcees, though, I would guess they'll be stocking for a little while longer yet.

We only have one toys r us here, and I checked everyday on my way home from work in February, finally found both a few days into march and seen arcee only once since then but i haven't been to toys r us a lot after i purchased them.

Managed to get in on the Takara preorder on BBTS.

Of course, having transformed her once and found her thumbs are breaking off, I'm decidedly less happy. :evil:

Sigh...looks like I'm not even going to get the Takara one at this point :sad:

I can only hope by some slim chance that Canada will get them at some point. I really hope somebody grills Hasbro about this at Botcon.

Jeez, man. Is that the same store as the FAO Schwarz now? Cause I can actually imagine that. Walking over to that keyboard, turning around, and just: Ratchets. A sea of Ratchets across an entire wall that reaches the ceiling. And then maybe a display of some clapping monkeys. That's messed up.

Nope, no hope here...I've been to my TRU at least once a week and they've had the same 2 Freeway Jazz and 1 Cybertronian OP for 3 months! I don't think scalpers are getting them all, I just think my TRU sucks! :lol:

I picked up several (and left several on the shelves) a month back but after being accused of price gouging for offering a arcee/ratchet pair for $30 it demotivates me helping out. . .
