After HLJ lowered its price, I crunched the numbers and came to a conclusion that both versions (Hasbro v Takara) will cost me the same after shipping fees, possibly down to the dollar.
So I guess it's down to which version I like better, and how soon I want it (Sep v Dec)? Wish we had some non stock photos of the Takara version.
Jetfire is ancient and powerful, but he would prefer to stay hidden in the background rather than on the front lines. He is a peaceful robot at heart, preferring the stately, ordered excitement of science to the frenzy of battle. But the reckless ambition of the Decepticons, and the senseless violence of their war sickened him, so he left Cybertron to go into hiding. He slumbered in peace for years. Reawakened by the arrival of the war on Earth, he decided once again to enter the fight – this time on the side of the Autobots, and this time to end it for good, whatever the cost.
Convert, arm and attack with all the Transformers action you can handle! This Jetfire figure is a high-powered Autobot fighter whether he's in robot mode or supercharged jet mode. He'll be a match for any enemy in robot mode, and he’ll fire his arm-mount cannons at his Decepticon foes! When he converts to fast-flying mode, his turbo thrusters will make him too fast for any enemy to escape, and his photon missile launchers will pound them to scrap when he catches them! Keep converting him back and forth so he can handle whatever his foes dish out!

3 years ago I had issues ordering stuff for in store pick up. In the last 3 years I have placed over a hundred orders with Kmart and had no issues.
They have been pretty spot on.
Seibertron wrote:Jetfire will be easy to get from Kmart because he won't be part of the same case assortment as anyone else. The problem with Kmart is that with their ordering system, all Voyager class figures in a product line are the same toy. Their system doesn't differentiate between Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Voyager Class Grimlock. It does, however, differentiate between Voyager Class toys from different lines so Generations Voyagers like Springer, Soundwave, Blaster, Sandstorm, Rhinox, etc won't get mixed up with AOE Voyagers, but they will get mixed up with themselves.
Jetfire, has his own case assortment and will be the first figure in this assortment so he'll be a sure bet.
Attached is a picture of the case that Jetfire comes in.

You are safe since the box just contains one figure? Good then.
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Meaning multiples of one figure? Then yes. Jetfire is shipped in a so-called "solid case", meaning no other figure is part of the same wave.

I was hoping for a few leader class Bumblebees in that case to spice things up. Like 3 to 1. :/

Oh good gravy, the last thing we need is more bees.
