Just saw a DOTM toy ad on TV!

I was using the internet, while the TV was on (Nickelodeon) and there was a commercial, and at the end it said "brought to you by Transformers Dark of The Moon action figures" and it had a picture of that Voyager Optimus! Oh yeah, DOTM is close!

They're pushing it already? It seems odd to throw that in the kids' faces when we have a little over...two months to go? Now a bunch of kids are going "Mom! Mom! New movie Transformers are out!" (goes to store) "Bludgeon and the Fallen? But those are old!"
I guess it's effective advertising to the intended audience...but it may give the wrong impression.

It looks like Hasbro has started their Transfomers DOTM marketing campaign. A few days ago Seibertron member SlyTF1 reported seeing an commercial on Nickelodeon that mentioned Transformers DOTM toys. The commercial is actually for Nickelodeon's upcoming Kid's Choice Awards 2011, and has now been uploaded to YouTube. At the 21 second mark an image of the new Transformers DOTM Voyager Optimus Prime appears with the audio, "Brought to you by Hasbro Transformers DOTM toys". The video is embedded below.

None taken. I read his post three days ago when he started the topic, but without video to support it there was nothing to work with.
