I wonder if this backlash will affect other retailers, UK-based or otherwise. From a business perspective, it's interesting to see the growth, saturation, and perhaps now stagnation of the 3rd Party marketplace. Between the glut of competition, retailer issues, and Hasbro stepping up official product, it's a pretty tight squeeze.
Yep. There's been so much of the 3rd party stuff these days that I've stopped buying most of it. I'm finishing off one 3rd party combiner and I'm getting the 3rd party 'Gobots' that are coming out, then I'm probably done. I'm way more excited about the official Takara MP line than anything the 3rd parties have been doing and Generations has been looking great as well, especially the new Arcee, which beats out any of the 3rd party versions I've seen so far.
