I was excited for the Dinocasettes. Although I just may get these, the Dinocasettes could have really used the update.
On the flipside, this means a Slugfest and Overkill are very likely.

I agree, and welcome these guys! KFC is becoming the Columbia House of 3P. Shame I can only comment on Rhinohorn (which I do like a lot), that Steeljaw hopefully will cement my opinion of the company.

Anyone else find it frustrating that the first full set of 5 Dinobots that we'll get since their original release in 1984/85 might be in cassette form?

We had all 5 plus one in the Armada Dinobots in 2003.

I'm more along the lines of "awwww, I was hoping for official takes!" I don't have much interest in Dinobot cassettes. Hopefully TFC will make some of these able to be repurposed for Dinocasette combiners and have what I was REALLY looking forward to still coming down the line.
I'd be a little more behind this is they just took their own takes on the official dinosaur cassettes (the Dinocasettes, Slugfest, and Overkill) and applied Dinobot color schemes to them.
