In case anyone here has not read the Facebook page by the guy who is doing the fiction and bios for KFC and Unique Toys, he added two more characters to the fiction. They are names Reverb and Resound. By their description in the story, they seem to be the Dinocassettes Graphy and Noise, who combine into Decibel. It would be nice if this means they are doing toys of them too, like this one.

I like it. Despite being very similar in design to G1, it really has a different look, with a lot more sculpted in details.

I am 100% amused by a robot toy that can, quite literally, give the bird.

Of course my hobby is collecting children's playthings, so should a juvenile sense of humor be a surprise?

I didn't see anyone else mention it, but these guys have been instock @BBTS (and I suspect the other etailers as well) for at least 3 days now (dropped into my POL on the 14th).

I'm waiting for my POL to stack a bunch more before I ship (only 3 items in there right now, including these guys), but if anyone else has theirs yet, I'd love to see some pics.

Got my Boxbomber today. A decent little pair.

Their cassette modes aren't the most realistic... A bit gappy, and neither side is perfectly flat. (Usually nice if at least one side is flat, and can pass as an actual cassette.) At least they both have tape detail in the center of one side, although it is less obvious on Birdbomber.

Also, after the amazement of the Masterpiece cassettes, it is a shame they don't have integrated weapons... But I suppose Frenzy and Rumble don't either, so I'll forgive them that.

Speaking of weapons, it was a bitch to get Birdbomber's guns onto his bird mode. I understood how they were supposed to go in, but they took a lot of force to get in the first time. I was worried about breaking something! Once they did go in, however, it is easier to repeat the process.

The combined mode is pretty neat, and very poseable. I was surprised, given that he technically has twice as much to him then Frenzy or Rumble, that he's only about a head taller then them.

Overall, though, quite a nice pair, who looks good with the other cassettes. I am happy with this purchase.

Yeah, I finally shipped my POL and got my set. I agree about everything Yotsuyasan said above, including Birbomber's weapons. They were a PITA.

I have them combined standing with my other MP cassettes around my Takara MP Soundwave and they fit right in. A very nice set and I can't wait to get their Autobot combiner cassette set as well
