Kroger ROTF figures sale

Postby Pontimax 01 » Wed Sep 16, 2009 5:29 pm

Just did my grocery shopping at Kroger, it's one of the big Neighborhood Market ones. So they have a pretty decent toy department actually, and I thought what the heck, I'll check the Transformers area.

Deluxe figures are 9.05, and Voyagers were 19.99. They had leaders, but I didn't look at the price. The price is a yellow label, so it's in combination with the Kroger savings card.

But hey, I got the ice cream truck twins for $9.05! :APPLAUSE:

:-( I can't find the Ice Cream twins to save my life. My local Ralph's also sells TFs except their prices are marked up by $1~2.

First time I've ever seen them to be honest. And it was the only one they had.

But to be honest, I haven't played with them much, because at the moment all their arms and legs are off and the nail polish is still drying on their ball joints. Whew, both of them are floppy messes. But the novelty of it being a combiner ice cream truck seems to make up for it.

If Kroger would have had a damn Long Haul, I'd be hitting the ceiling right now. But alas, only Ratchets and Ironhides. I made the mistake of passing on LH a few times when he first showed up and now he's nowhere to be found here. So I wait...

Yea, I mainly wanted Ice Cream twins bc of 2 bots -> 1 alt mode concept is pretty unique in the movie line. I believe Long Haul is on HTS, in case you don't feel like searching.
