The belly thing is the only thing that had peeked my interest with this. But I would have liked to at least have seen how it worked in robot and alt mode when the prototype was installed. So far we have only seen mechanical drawings and very vague prototype pictures.

Yup, makes me wonder if they couldn't get the belly shield to work...[Edit: though there's diam's previous post about a lack of interest]

At least there's that other blaster from ArtTek since apparently these guys are not going to produce one.

Workshop's belly is not going to be a shield, but rather a back pack for Grimlock to make him look more G1. Someone else was designing a belly that can be used as a shield (fakebusker83), but that fell through as others have gone through and were going to make that possible.

Shapeways designer CustomsByZ has this chest filler as an alternative which stays in place in both modes but means the Dino-head doesnt tuck in...

I'd like this set to include little chrome replacement dino arms too. It'd be a nice little touch.

Alright, is this getting made or is it NOT getting made? I'd REALLY like some closure on this. Where can we find news?

I don't think there's anything new except what's in the 3 and a half pages here. There's usually enough of us interested in these projects to post updated news as it happens.

You could see if L.O.D. Workshop has a Facebook page. They might have more updates there.

[Edit] Also, I don't know if anybody gave you the welcome yet. Welcome!
