Rumour has it there was a Transformers game in development called Transformers Rise and that this game was cancelled. According to the YouTube video below, the cutscenes presented are from thus cancelled game. They feature new designs for G1 characters and there were toys planned to accompany this game as well. Of course, it could be that these cutscenes are for another game that has yet to be announced. Either way, enjoy these 2 cutscenes from an unreleased Transformers Game.

Best game lead character designs ever, so on that alone it would of been worth it if they release toys based on these designs

That's definitely Steve Blum voicing Starscream in the first clip, but I can't tell if Optimus's voice is either Peter Cullen or Jon Bailey.

Ratchet's voice I'm not so sure about either. But if it is Bailey voicing Optimus, then perhaps it might be him voicing Ratchet too. There's a subtle hint of Bailey's voice in Ratchet.

Optimus sounds alot more like Bailey in this, his Prime has a bit less of low pitch to it and a bit less what I guess I would call slow and whispery sound than what you would expect from Cullen. It's almost more inline with Unicron Trilogy's Prime voice actor more than the G1 / TF Prime style.

I'm hearing Bailey as Optimus. It's for sure not Cullen.

I wonder if this is the origin of that leaked "Shine" toyline that never materialised? "Rise and Shine" is a little on the nose though.
Supposedly Armada Starscream was to share engineering with a figure from Shine.

I'm so intrigued by this, I wish/hope we could know more. Given the animatic style of the cutscenes though, I wonder what kind of video game this would have been. It reads very strategy/top down if you ask me. Still a shame if we never hear anymore about this!

It would have been a live service game.

Wow, what a neat concept! From what little I can tell, seems a post-apocalyptic invasion by another cybernetic species that forces humans, Autobots and Decepticons to work together. That's the kind of completely new, untried story I'd like to see more in Transformers media.

Shame the game (apparently) didn't get made, but hopefully they can pick it up as a comic or TV series.

Thanks for sharing these! I love Transformers games so this is great. Would be very sad if these are for a cancelled game rather than an upcoming game. Do we have any details on this? Could somebody ask Jon Bailey or any of the other people involved if they have any idea what's up here?

They did something similar with the Quints in one of the recently finished kiddie TF cartoons, akin to The Matrix.

Well, if someone cared enough to restrict them, maybe that's a good sign the game might actually get finished and released?
