I usually detest "specialized" Lego sets (i.e Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings), but this one I can handle (along with Star Wars). That looks pretty sweet.

Using the mini figs as a reference point, this thing is positively IMMENSE! It's actually in scale with the figures, which is something that almost never happens anymore. Awesome!

I'd love to know the exact dimensions on this thing. It has to be ginormous. With that in mind, I'm not sure where I'd showcase something like that.

Well, using one of my mini figs, a tape measure, and some eyeballing, I'm coming up with about 5 feet tall. Hope its got solid, stable footing and good weight distribution!

Oh, I'm sure the estimate is give or take. The tape measure method is pretty tried and true, but the eyeballing is just asking for variables!

Gotta be close, though. 4-something at least.

based off of the boxes, it can't be that tall.

this pic helps a little.

I'm gettin about 3 feet for the height. 4 at the absolute max, but even then i think thats pushin it.

Using the eyeball method, and scaling it against the little kleenex box in the back, I'm going to have to go with just about 3 feet or so myself. Even so, that much detail in that scale.....? I may need to go lie down and swoon.

wow. looking at that make me realize how truly untalented and impatient I am. Can you imagine the trial and error that went into that? Or the times that his cat jumped up on the table or the phone rang at that critical assembly point? That dude has gets my respect. That is really bad ass.

I wish they still showed Voltron on Adult Swim. Hand's down my favorite cartoon from the 80's that I never had any of the toys from. Mom said "No" with all of the Transformers, Star Wars, GI Joe and He-Man stuff I had that she had to put her foot down, lol.

That is great. I know I would not have the patience to put something like that together, even if it had directions. I also would not be able to afford it. I mean, the Lego Star Wars stuff is really expensive and they aren't that big. That Voltron is like 3-4 feet tall.
