Hoping for the other arm/leg to be a helicopter, and for the torso to be the Bruticus Maximus chest (Onslaught, Mega Octane??? I can't remember).

Seriously, that would be a crushing disappointment. That torso sucks so bad it hurts. Bruticus's center piece would fit much better.
Though, I'm pretty sure that the 5th piece was supposed to be entirely original. That might just mean a new set of heads, or it might mean a new toy. We'll see in two years.

Soo... the first figure was supposed to include resculpting, but they weren't able to implement the changes in time. But they promised every other figure would include some resculpting.
The second figure was supposed to include resculpting, but they'd incurred some unexpected costs when they used the wrong metal for the molds, and had to start over. But they PROMISED that the next figure would include some new sculpting!
Now the third figure has been revealed. Is anyone else not surprised that it's effectively just another repaint?
As for the future limbs, I'd *personally* like to see the bulldozer sculpt reworked into a dune buggy or armored car of some sort, so the Constructicon combiner has some representation in the overall design (though hoping for a resculpt is probably worthless, I know). As for the torso, I'd have to agree that the Bruticus torso would be best, followed by the Superion one (provided they fixed some of the stability issues with the torso-mode). The Constructicon torso is just... severely lacking.

You're right.
The run-around on all that has been pretty weak.
As long as they come through with a sweet-action Gesalt Leader figure though, I really won't mind.

no, emeraldbeacon, your facts are off. As I have said many, many times before at this point, I misunderstood something from way back when. I thought that the only reason that Skyfall did not get a remolded head was due to time constraints, but cost was also a factor. So when I posted that future club freebie toys would get a new head I was incorrect. When Landquake came around it was cost prohibitive to do a new head and thus he did not get a new head. Furthermore, no one ever said Breakaway would get a new head.

You're right the main combiner was supposed to be either an entirely new mold or a heavily re-molded limb. Don't get me wrong either; I thought the constructicon torso was crap too; in fact I couldn't stand ANY of the combiners.

My guess is the torso part will be a remolded Barricade with a different combiner head. That was the best body of the 3 combiners, & to use one of the others would either be out of place(Steamhammer) or too flimsy & jet-heavy(Stormjet).
Anywho....looks ok. Didn't really care for that mold, honestly. Robot is a bit bland. I'm hoping the next one is the Blackout mold. But perhaps they'll go a different path? I could see them reusing Lanquake's mold only heavily modified. Perhaps make him a single-cannon tank with wheels instead of treads?? Or perhaps something that looks like a bridge-laying vehicle? I dunno. Whatever they do, they'd definately need a different head.
