Thanks for the feature!
I knew having a thing before it's even officially announced was newsworthy.

I got my Titan Nemesis in, and she is pretty good. She has a good presence to her, and I love the shadow she casts. I do not like the bicep kibble, but that is really the only setback on her. I will say I wish she had a little more backweight, as i want to pose her in the hunchback look, but she is difficult to balance in a convincing look that way, plus she takes up more room in that way.

I also got Nova Prime and Shadowstriker. Nova Prime is very cool, I love it. Shadowstriker looks good, but still annoys me as she looks almost nothing like her Cyberverse self, and her transformation is a pain.

Bludgeon still rules. He is better than Tarn.

I also got Strongarm and Detritus in. Both are pretty neat, I will discuss them later.

It was announced at SDCC. We have known and had official images for it since July.

I meant, FULLY announced. With the price and all.
Because so far, no one know for how much the damn thing will cost in the USA.
I just want to know by how much I overpaid (given the Canadian trend for so many exclusives), or if the prices are relatively balanced between both countries.

My Detritus came with some weird crusty look to his gold gun. It's not mold but it might be a rushed paint coat.

So that mean with the EDGE Platinum membership, I end up paying 5 to 8$CAN extra compared to the American price.
Not too shabby considering that if I was stuck ordering from Pulse, they would have charged my the whopping 25$US in shipping fee at the bare minimum.

The big boots were a key feature of Animated Bumblebee's silhouette. They were even based on the feet of G1 Bumblebee, which were made from the front bumper area of his own original toy, a toy that also had big boots. So the original feet were already a G1 homage. Hasbro's attempt to G1-ify the feet here results in eliminating something that was already G1-based.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And what were once the front feet on the original design are now the heels of this design, with new tinier feet replacing them.
That's just a small detail.

Yeah, they still refuse to let Animated be Animated. I don't really see any improvement here, it's just as heavily G1fied as Prowl and Bulkhead.

Thinking about it, that's an odd choice.
Also, the way the thing are built, I don't think the feet can rotate. That's unfortunate.

Re: Transformers Legacy Line Discussion
I think it looks loads better than the other stylistic ports (Prime Bulkhead and Ani Prowl). Not that it would take that much ... it's a low bar at this point.
I guess it's a good catch on the feet. It's been so long that I forgot about that. In the end it's still an ascetic conversion and an entirely new toy. For me it hits the mark. I guess I don't need it to be 100% accurate. 80-90 is fine.
If I were interested in Animated BB. Which, sadly, I am not.

In fact, checking the wiki real quick, a vast majority of new-mold G1 Bumblebee toys ( and all of their redecos/retools) made since the original Classics mold in 2006 have all had big boots:-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The big boots were a key feature of Animated Bumblebee's silhouette. Having big boots is simply G1 Bumblebee's thing (among other things), and the original Animated Bumblebee toys replicated that faithfully.

Got the (Amazon exclusive?) Nova Prime!
First, that's big, sturdy box! The insides of the packaging must be quite premium.

...Or not.

I noticed that the whole thing was put face-down. Not a biggie, but what the F with those paper bundles? Sure, it's way more environmental friendly than plastics clamshells, but still. Am I moving some dishes to a new apartment or what?

Looks like Nova Prime have a bondage fetish. Kinky! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The super bot looks awesome, except for the hollow firetruck things. I'll be looking forward an upgrade kit.

The mini Prime is nice. Like a clone of Magnus.

The transformation was full of TRAPS. The worst one being the legs-armor's "panels". Those are screwed in place and are not meant to be moved. As for the rest, it's so different than Siege/Kingdom Magnus that I had to look up the instructions to know what to do. That's rare.
The final truck is pretty damn nice.

I'll be looking forward some upgrade kit and the Reprolabels.

This apply to Armada Starscream, Megs, and Optimus.
They could make a 3 pack of these CORE CLASS figures.

SimianProphet wrote:I have been collecting the Legacy Junkions, in anticipation of their eventual combined mode, only to be pretty disappointed by the semi-official Junkasaurus build, once I had it in hand.
I searched around to see if anyone had any more interesting combinations, and I found nothing.
So I tinkered a bit, and came up with this, completely unofficial, but improved (In my opinion) Junkasaurus.
I used a Trashmaster, an Axlegrease, and a Scraphook, along with all of their components.
If anyone has any other cool Junkions combos, I'd love to see them! (I still have yet to find any really good 'Evo-Fusion' ideas for Trashmaster's parts, other than just swapping out the trucks front end)
Nice configuration! I don't mind the official Junkasaurus might not be good... as each individual Junkions are pretty good on their own with a ton of playability. So the combining aspect is a pure bonus. I kind of like Axelgrease's color mixed into the combiner and some asymmetry on the limbs, and not needing to double dip on the same figure is another bonus too.

First Look at Transformers Legacy Animated Optimus Prime (and Motormaster mold)
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
Hasbro Pulsecon is coming later this week and we know there will be a whole new Legacy United line unveiled for us. We've seen animated deluxe Bumblebee and now we have our first look at Animated voyager Optimus Prime. You can see the images below. Let us know what you think of it. While several fans have complained that many Prime toys and even animated Bumblebee have lost a lot of their unique designs in favour of more standard proportions and aesthetics, this Optimus Prime retains a large amount of his Animated aesthetic. Also remember that this very same mold is getting redeco'd into Motormaster later next year.

Transformers Legacy United Animated Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Revealed
- Motto: "There are no impossibilities in the multiverse, just small minds unable to comprehend the possibilities"
- Weapon: Armor Axe
Thanks to ScreenRant we have not only the reveal of the subtitle for next year's Legacy Line: United, but we also have the official reveal of the first 2 figures from that wave: deluxe Animated Bumblebee and voyager Animated Optimus Prime!
Bumblebee was previously leaked this week, but these new images show us the official reveal of the figure, complete with his box.
Optimus Prime is brand new for everyone to see, and is a great attempt at remaining faithful to the Animated look while trying to fit in with the rest of the Legacy toyline.
Both figures will receive attention at Pulsecon this weekend, and are expected to go up for Preorder some time this weekend.
Check out the images below, and let us know what you think in the comments below!
