Looking for a song from one of the Transformers trailers...

Postby MissSarita » Thu Oct 25, 2007 1:52 am

Ok, so I'm looking for a certain song that I heard on one of the Transformers trailers and after previewing the Transformers score that I finally received in the mail today, I couldn't find it. :(

So, I'm looking to the other fans for help.

Here's the trailer that I heard this song on:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=XnwmUZuF5OY

The song begins at 1:45, right as the screen displays "From director Michael Bay" and the song continues until the end of the trailer.

Anyone?

I think the song is the same one which you can hear right after the Linkin Park song. I want to know what it is too.

Steve originally said it was just for the trailer.

Im hoping the good sales of the Score, get us a Exteneded
cut with the Trailer Music. I had an Email, id personally ask Mr. Jablonsky to try and add it in a future Score release.

A recent trend lately has been to put music in the trailers and not have them in the movie, thus not having them on the soundtrack, and that kinda sounds like what happened here.

An extended cut of the soundtrack? Eh, I don't see that happening, but it would be sweet.

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
I don't recognize it, but like everyone else has said, it may be on an extended CD.

Thanks for all of the responses guys! I really appreciate it. It does sound like it was composed specifically for the trailer (like the other song in the trailer too, where Prime rolls up in front of Mikaela and Sam).

I listened to the score a little more closely and I thought I heard pieces of it. It's the song named "You're a Soldier Now" and it happens at 2:39 in the song. Sounds like it was the original music used in the trailer, but Jablonsky changed it around when he made the score...it's not as exciting as the song in the trailer. :(

If anyone hears anything, or if anyone somehow stumbles across this specific song (I'm talking about near-exact replica), can you please let me know! My e-mail is sgoff83@yahoo.com

I appreciate everyone's input.

Since I'm a kind soul, I signed up just to tell you (as I get frustrated when I can't figure out a song title)

It is called:

Hubris Mine, and I have two different versions of it by the Pfeifer Broz. Music

Hope this helps!

Do you realize how much I love you?!

Now, to find the first part of the song, and I will be happy forever. But I think that it may just be impossible. :(

But thank you sooooo much!

I HATE when studios do this. Get the movie on DVD and then get the uber edition a couple months down the road. Why must you do this to me! Don't you have enough money!?!?!
