As a side note, I just returned from a trip to Pensacola. I hit up several TJ Maxxes, Rosses, and Marshalls along the I-10. None of them really had anything to brag about; just some Deep Dives and a Grapple or Lugnut (no Wreck-Gars). There were plenty of RotF though.

I bring this up because almost every one I stopped at in Missippi, Alabama, and Florida all had between 1-4 Battle Hooks Leader Optimus Primes. I don't know if this is something that will be showing up here or what. I was just surprised because I've never spotted them in LA.

I think they are just being replenished when they sell out. I picked up both BH OP and Leader Starscream at my local Ross on 6/16.

It's a little disappointing when I go to one of the stores and they are almost (or completely) devoid of TF figures. But I've always gone back later and seen some proof that more figures came in afterwards. It's all a waiting game now.

However, with Hasbro's announcement of the next wave of Generations figures, I'm worried they didn't announce any scouts for that wave. Would love to see Windcharger reissued, as well as getting Frenzy and Rumble at some point.

My wife and I are actually in Orlando and will be headed to Destin in a few days. She wants to go shopping a few times and usually that consists of outlet malls which happen to have Ross and TJ Maxx attached. If I happen to come across a Grapple, I'll pick one up for you.

No worries dude. I'm still on the look out for Windcharger, so I'm sure I'll have to trek through a few TJ Maxxes regardless.

NFL lockout is over, we may see Black and Gold Optimus Prime in the Superdome again this year!

I really need to make a Starscream outfit. Call it "business casual attire".

Glad the lockout is over. I was worried about my Fantasy League. I can't say I'm a Saints fan though. I've been a 49er fan since I was like 5. Drives my dad nuts! :lol:

On a side note, the stores out here in Orlando are horrible when it comes to TF's. Hit up Toys R Us, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Target. Nothing. Hell, the TJ Maxx and Marshalls had NO Tranformers merchandise whatsoever. I had been checking the Florida sightings thread and some guy apparently found Windcharger there 2 days ago. Must have just missed him...

So, after getting back from Florida, I can say that I found nothing. Hit up TJ Maxxes, Marshalls, and Rosses in Orlando, Pensacola, and even Alabama. Nothing. Sorry CB, no Grapple...

Still, today I happened to go in TRU to see if they had the Rescue Robots for my little nephew and they actually did. Got Bumblebee for him and Prime for myself. There didn't seem to be any left, but they did have the big electronic playsets and one or two human partner figures. Prime and Bumblebee actually bigger than I thought (almost Alternator height standing up). Sadly, there don't seem to be any points of articulation...but they are intended for toddlers, so I can't complain, lol. I also happened to find Warpath there of all places. Considered getting him to keep MOSC, but decided against it.

Oh yea, no sign of MP Hotrod.

Went to Ross on Manhattan last night, 2 Deep Dives looking for a good home.

Target next door had some new Cyberverse figures in: the Prime with swords and also Hatchet. There's 1 Hatchet left, a few Primes, and several of the Target exclusive DOTM Deluxe Bumblebee, but most of these are near the registers and not in the toy area.

Last time I was in Lafayette, which would have been July 21st, TRU said they had gotten in a shipment of like 2 Masterpiece Rodimus, but had sold them. I don't know if this is true or not though, but I know the guy that told me, and I'd trust him.

So my dad who works in the CBD told me about a hobby shop he saw at the Riverwalk. He mentioned that he saw a few Transformers there, and when he mentioned to the store owner that his son (me) collects them, the store owner told him they were from Japan. Anyone else ever heard of this place? I think it's called New Orleans Toy and Hobby. I may check it out tomorrow while the wife is at work, I'll let you guys know how it is.

I hadn't heard of this place yet, as I haven't been to the Riverwalk in years. Hopefully some good stuff.

Another local shop that I've been meaning to check out is Louisiana Toy Box. I believe they opened up in Harahan. My first experience with them was at NOLA Con 2010, and I purchased the SDCC Soundwave from them at a reasonable price. Not sure how much of a TF presence they have, but again I never followed up afterwards.

Carl is a good guy. That is where I get all my DC figs from. He is supposed to start selling Hasbro toys as soon as he gets the shop fixed and completely up and running. I will keep everyone posted on when he opens.

Holy crap! Generation figures for 20 bucks?! That's worse that Ebay... I'm still going to check them out, but I guess I better brace myself for inflated prices. I was kind of hoping to find Jetwing Prime there...

As for the place Necro mentioned, it sounds pretty good. I only collect Transformers though, so I look forward to them selling Hasbro/Takara products.

Saw Ultimate Op at the TRU on Vets just now. Still no sign of Rodimus. I asked the manager when he was coming in and he said he didn't know and it's not in their system (and according to him the same thing happened with MP Grimlock). He advised me to check back Friday because that's when their new shipment from Hasbro arrives.

I finally got lucky today at marshalls. Picked up a deepdive, grapple, and lug nut. I was so happy to not have to pay those ridiculous eBay markup sellers have on them.
