as of 10 o'clock this morning, Tru on Veterans was sold out of masterpiece prowl. The employee told my friend that somebody came and bought all three at one time, the same person is known for buying other masterpieces and bringing things back that he cannot sell.

Two sunstorms are at the BTR TRU as of noon today! No sign of Prowl.

Also after talking to an employee they're trying to limit people to two a piece, but aren't enforcing it strictly.

Wow, I never knew there was a scalper problem this big in New Orleans. Now I'm wondering if said scalper checks these forums...

Anyway, I went to TrU today and no sign of Sunstorm. I talked to an employee and complained about how I've seen people walk around the store with a basketful of Masterpiece figures and how it's not fair to other collectors. The woman was like "Yea, they're collectors and that's what they do." I told her I'm a collector and those other people are scalpers who sell the products for twice as much on eBay. She claimed that management was going to issue a statement limiting one MP per customer, but I doubt it'll happen.

The difference between scalpers and collectors is that collectors have real jobs and can't make daily toy runs multiple times a day. I totally just ordered rattrap on hasbrotoyshop when I had the chance... but I ordered one, that's it.

I am a collector that due to my job can check places on a daily basis. Scalpers sell for a profit and in more cases than none resell to fund their own collecting habits.

Westbank tru has 4 mp prowls and 2 sunstorms. Getting one prowl. They also have deluxe lockdown.

If you collect Star Wars they have the 6" biker scout and jabba.

Just order the MPs from TRU's website, they are still available there. I got my Sunstorm the other day from the site and since I already have Takara Prowl I'm not going to bother with the domestic release. Also, free shipping rules!

Sorry, I'm really jaded about MP releases at TRU. I usually find them, but it's a pain and I usually try to find some for friends. :michaelbay:

Thanks for the heads up! Luckily, I was able to get Sunstorm this morning from the TrU on Vets. They have one more. I actually called them at 10:45 to find out if the figure was in and the woman told me they didn't get the shipment last night. I figured it was BS, and when I showed up at the store at 11:15, two MP Sunstorms were sitting there, clear as day in the Transformers section. I hate TrU's customer service...

Also, I'm able to make so many runs to TrU because I'm a teacher, and I've been off all summer. School starts back up in 2 weeks, but I have professional developments 2 days next week.

I don't have any of the Energon Terrorcons, but I'm actually selling off like 75% of my collection for some pretty cheap prices. I have a sales thread over at another Transformers website, so PM me if you're interested. It's always easier to sell figures locally than to ship them off.

How's Skybyte? I've been thinking about getting him to replace the original one in my RID display, but I can't really decide which one looks better. If it matters, I'd be displaying it in shark mode (I already have a spare Figma stand for him).

He's definitely a solid figure. Shark mode is pretty nice. Can't really get over his face in robot mode though. lol

You would be surprised how this info can do good. I have been seeing them pop up all over as of recent. I saw them yesterday at the tchoupitoulas wal mart too.
