It's TF restock day at the Denham Walmart. Spotted 1 Roadbuster & 2 Skybytes. Looks like they had an old Generations wave hiding (Skywarp, Scoop...) I don't know which wave this is but they have the AoE wave with Lockdown. 2 Lockdowns if anyone is interested. A bunch of other assorted AoE stuck appears to have been restocked as well. Still no new Legends though.
Speaking of Lockdown. I don't collect the movie stuff, but I'm on the fence with Lockdown. I like the car mode but I'm pretty meh about robot mode. Would anyone recommend him?

I've yet to see a Jetfire in the wild. Seen a few Roadbusters and his wave mate here and there. I just picked up Roadbuster the other day. He is a little in the simple side, but his weapons are a lot of fun. Now I just need to gather the courage to tackle the sticker sheet O_o

I totally talked a grandma out of buying the last Jetfire at the BTR TRU for her five year old... he just wanted jets so I convinced her it'd be more fun to buy Generations Starscream, Thundercracker and the minicons... what... don't judge me. On the other hand, Jetfire!

I won't judge either. Honestly, the kid might enjoy multiple new toys as opposed to just 1 (massive) toy.
Regarding "who" buys a 5 yr old these toys... ummm... I was 5 once and it's been about, oh, 30 years being a fan because a parent (Optimus, Metroplex), godfather (Voltron diecast set), or other relative purchased these for me.

I don't remember how old I was when I first got transformers and I'm too lazy to do the math, but what always gave me fits was putting on the damn stickers. Hell, I still haven't gotten the courage (read that as willing to put the time into) to put the stickers on Road buster yet.
Probably the same reason I haven't placed a reprolables order.
