I was in Lafayette all last week. I just couldn't convince myself to drive through their traffic to even check the TRU. That Play N Trade (not to far from the TRU) used game store is pretty cool, if you're into that kind of thing.

Tru on vets has a TON of both leader class megatrons (no Magnus), so many Primes and silverbolts it is not funny. They also had a couple RID Jazz.

Yeah! And I got cyclonus and the "real" limb for superion and menasor from hts, so now it's just a waiting game. Really hoping we see that deluxe rook though..

I really dig the deep purples and the idea of him controlling other combiner-bots against their will. Also, he stands about half a torso taller than CW Megatron, so he really looks like an "upgrade" of a leader. He also shares some really neat similarities to the original toy, like the Unicron belly squares. Depending on your limb configuration you can have him wear his cannon on his arm, though I'm really hoping we get a third party fusion cannon and maybe some Sweeps limbs to finish him off.

I do like the general look of the figure. Love the purple, but Cyclonus isn't IDW enough for me. My Tailgate needs some of that IDW Cyclonus lovin'. Maybe if I catch him on clearance... cheap love :lol:

I do find Superion to be superior over Menasor (pun sorta intended). Menasor is just too fiddly for me. I've tried a few different configs for Menasor and can't quite find an overall combination of misconfigurations for Motormaster that are doing it for me. I'm going with the default arms and slightly off legs. If it wasn't for those heels he would just fall over. I'm also using Matt Booker's config for Blackjack. BJ stays in fine, but wiggles a good bit.

I wanted to set up an epic fight scene with the two with a few other bots duking it out below, but I'm not sure I can get the two to stand up for the pic. Oh well, I will probably just break em both back down into teams.

I did nab Slingshot and Wildrider. I like SS on Superion for a consistant look, but I'm using WR as a rogue agent doing his own thing. My TF space is a wreck and I need better lighting so I can update my collection/pics page.

Nice. I'm waiting on Hot Spot and his big blue "Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord" buddy to arrive from HTS. Going try and nab lil Groove at retail.

What's your thought on Hot Spot?

I'm contemplating getting UM and Viper now that I have a HTS 15% off code, but I'm moving at the end of the month.... I'll wait till tomorrow and see if I get any birthday cash tonight...

Hotspot is nice, but I do think that the plastic in this wave feels very hollow and thin. None the less, hotspot has some nice touches, like his robot head fitting into a terminator-esque "rib cage" when in combiner mode. He has what looks to be the most stable upper arm/leg combination going on too. I actually had to pull the instructions out to figure out how to get his combiner head in place, and it's a very unorthodox use of the ladder piece. All in all, he's honestly the best designed torso in my opinion, with silverbolt/cyclonus coming in second.

Moving?!? Not to be to much in your business, in town out of town, out of state?

The LA sightings board is almost dead as is.

Anyway, back to TF stuff. I'm liking the Protectobots, Rook and Streetwise are my stand-outs. I set up a new battle scene, not sure if you've had time to check it out.

We moved at the first if the year and it was about 3 months of chaos. We are just now getting back to normal.
