Yea, that sounds good to me. I live in Metairie, so I'm not that far from the Esplanade mall. I had no idea Mechacon would be so busy though.

As a member of the 501st Legion I have attended the con where it used to be held and the NO location had so many more attendees. It was packed.

As a fan of 3rd party stuff, I'm not liking that new head sculpt. The Takara/Hasbro version isn't the best, but I'm really not sure what this version does besides remove the "wings" and makes Blurr's face fatter. I do think the weapons upgrades are cool (esp. how the shield fits underneath in alt mode), but until I see a price, it's hard to say whether I'll get it or not. But it will NOT be to replace the original head.

The rest: Esplanade Mall sounds cool, but I was also thinking about a local shop I frequent in Metairie that has an upstairs area that we could be undisturbed in. However, I haven't asked permission yet, and it seems like Saturdays may not be the best due to a conflict. Anyways, at least we're coming up with some ideas.

Did anyone get HA Leadfoot on Sunday? I haven't had a chance to open mine yet, but look forward to having him on the shelf soon.

Congrats! Now if only we could find some Windchargers in the area. I think I've given up on that.

But I'm glad you updated us. I went out to the Elmwood stores Saturday afternoon to search for RTS and only found some old ROTF deluxes. So, I may give up on those sites for now since you got your Grappel. I'm really not looking for anything else at retail right now (thankfully, due to getting Leadfoot over the weekend).

I haven't found anything cool in stores. Still looking for leadfoot but I recently got a huge haul of classic stuff lol. I'm still finish my classic up. I probably bought 30+ figures this month. I still need classic jetfire then I'll probably get the 3 rainmaker set from KOtoys. Definitely don't like the hasbro acid rain.

I am still going to hit the stores when I am around them so if I find another one I will nab him for you.

I read somewhere that some people have been finding the hard to find PCC 5 and 2 packs at Borders. ...Well...the Borders that still haven't shut down. Unfortunately, the Borders in Metairie is closed, so I haven't been able to check (though I may see how things look at Barnes at Nobel since it's like 5 minutes away).

Not sure if they have any Borders still open in BR or Lafayette, but I'm just throwing that info out there. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up Steamhammer and the Constructicons when I had the chance...

Man I was looking on ebay a week ago for a cyclonus. I stumbled up on a custom cyclonus but the images were horrible. You could not see anything at all but I guess it work towards my advantage. Since the pictures were so horrible no one bid on the item so I end up getting it for 5 dollars. I think the 5 dollar was worth it!

It isn't colored accurate at all but the detail is pretty amazing just to have.

That custom Cyclonus looks really good. I'm always nervous about custom stuff because I hear the paint chips.

That is one reason I stay away from them as well. That one does look nice though.

Yeah I know what ya mean but I saw it with a couple of minutes at 5 dollar left so I just took the risk. It was worth it in the end cause when I saw the horrible picture the first thing that came to mind was "who doesn't have a decent camera these days if they plan on selling something. Maybe he did it to hide the horrible paintjob". The paint is pretty smooth though, no chipping at joints either and it move smoothly

Yeah I was going to wait since I didn't want to spend 60 but the way scalpers have been taking advantage of every figure. I just knew I had to get this mold if I ever want to own a unicron for under 70 bucks so I just bought it

Yeah, I reported it to the news crew.. I could have "newsed" it myself but I did not.

This has nothing to do with sighting or local chat but I'm super piss waiting for my refund from Mastercollectibles. I don't know if you guys remember Mastercollectible but they put up the limited 10 Nova Prime up for sell almost two years ago. Being the naive person I was at the time jump on the figure cause it was too cool to pass up. I spent the 500 dollar two years ago and haven't received any figure from them. They never respond to email or update the buyers at all. They finally sent an email on May 03 saying that they are no longer making the figure due to casting troubles and they will be refunding all the buyers at the end of May. It is already the end of August and I have yet to receive my refund or any responses. It sucks cause it has been two years so their is no way to file a claim and today I'm just realizing that it is a total lost of 500 dollar. . I sent them probably 30 emails within June to Now.

Does anyone know anyone else that order this figure? I want to see if anyone else got any update from these guys.

I remember hearing about the Nova Prime thing. That sucks that it seems like you're out 500 bucks. Did you pay with Paypal?

Yup paypal but it's been too long to claim anything. I've only found one other buyer from tfw and he has no update as well

HEy guys I don't know if anyone is still looking for the RTS legends toys, but two Tuesday Mornings in BR had the entire run today. No luck on the basics

Ross on Manhattan has a BB Bumblebee and a Breacher... = (

Marshall's on WB Expwy/Mahattan has a few of the older 2 pack PCCs for $5.99/ea. I picked up Sledge/Throttler and Leadfoot/Pinpoint.

Most newsworthy is that I also picked up Grimstone and the Dinobots (PCC) for $12.99 at the Marshall's - there's 1 left, and 2 Steamhammers/Constructicons left. Go to the toy section, back shelf at the bottom for these gems.

Still on the hunt for a Windcharger, and after seeing a custom Grappel turned into Ultra Magnus last week, might want another one of these as well...

And, stay safe and dry if you go out today! Manhattan isn't too bad, amazingly enough.

Went to the TJ Maxx off Clearview and found a bunch of Steamhammers w/ Constructicon 5 packs, Leadfoot w/ Pinpoint, Icepick w/ Chainclaw, and Sledge w/ Throttlers. They're on the table as soon as you walk in the store.

Also spotted the Shockwave Cyberverse pack at the Walmart on Vets.

Ya several PCC's were at both TJ Maxx and Marshall's in BR as well. Of course that RTS bumblebee is gone... and I had just talked myself into ordering that Renderform Goldbug head...

I'm glad to finally have found Sledge w/ Throttler and Steamhammer w/ the Constucticons again. I saw them both only ONE time at Walmart and passed because I just knew there were going to be repaints for the Constructicons (in purple and green of course) and a possible repaint of Sledge as an Autobot. Guess that never happened.

Also, those Renderform heads look like trash IMO. You may have done yourself a favor by not getting that RTS BB.

I wish I got to ordwr the renderform head! They sold out cause I didnt keep updated cause i thought it was going to be front page but it wasn't .

Do you live in baton rouge? I have a rts bumblebee extra if you need it but its open. I bought one not knowing my little brother had one so I have one in robot mode and one in car mode.
