Went to the TRU on Vets. Saw 2 Voyager Skyquakes, PRID Ultra Magnus and Thundertron. They also had the Triple Changer Constructobots and even a FoC Kickback.

Stoppef by TRU on vets. Their was a Sandstorm hidden in the area above the racks. I took him down and put him back on the rack. First one there gets em!

Also, just to save some of you some time: I stopped by all the walmarts and targets in kenner and Metairie. Nothing new at any of them.

Yeah I did a sweep too and found nada. Was hoping that the vets tru would get in more pacific rim figs.. I want gypsy danger and the only store that has them now is the br store.

Found ruination and microverse shockwave at the boutee wal mart (impactor by himself with shockwave) and at the houma wal mart with a lone sandstorm. Only bought roadbuster.

I went to Baton Rouge TRU Tuesday and Wednesday with no luck. I gave up on Thursday then members on the TFW2005 forum spotted him. When I went there they were gone :sad:

Nice! Yeah I live about 25-30 minutes from TRU. I pass it everyday on the way to work but I was off yesterday so decided to not try haha

Thanks to my calls I was able to hit east and westbank today. Nothing spectacular though.
Clearview Target: absolutely nothing
Veterans Tru: nothing
Manhattan wal mart: nothing minus nothing
Manhattan target: empty
Lapalco Tru: a couple sandstorms and new bh magnuses, they did not even have a spot for mp soundwave.
Barataria wal mart: a few springers but that is it.

Found all the FoC Wreckers at the Vets Walmart, but didn't get any of them. Also, I think I was the person who got the first Acid Storm and Soundwave from the Vets TrU today.

I just moved from an apartment in Metairie on Severn to a new house in the East, so I had been checking for him regularly. Once I moved, I decided to give the TrU a call last night. The girl who knew me called the manager and they confirmed that there was a Soundwave on their shipping truck. They found it last night and told me to be there at 10:00 am today. I had to do a final cleaning on my old apartment, so I was going to be out there anyway this morning. Got there at 9:55, strolled in, and grabbed my two new Masterpieces. The girl I know who works there saw me checking out with my Soundwave. She told me that I'm lucky to have gotten it first because there's usually a scruffy guy with long hair who buys MP figures like that. Not sure who that is, but I'm guessing it's a member of this board, and congrats to whoever you are for scoring such a great figure.

I'm loving Soundwave and, surprisingly, Acid Storm. I love the new Seeker mold and that garish green really makes it pop in my MP display.

That is familiar as to how I got my MP SW last week, they told me that they were getting them on the truck, I showed up the next morn @ 10 and BAM..

Hmm...well I wonder who the guy is. Like I said, I lived off Severn (two blocks from Lakeside) for about 5 years. I'd hit up that TrU a few times a week, sometimes just out of boredom. I've only noticed a collector there a handful of times, and it's usually Star Wars collectors (they're on the same aisle as the TF stuff). Would have been cool to bump into a fellow TF collector, but New Orleans/Metairie/Kenner doesn't really seem to have the biggest collector population out there.

I guess that's a good thing. I've never had to worry about scalpers.

Clearview target did their reset last night. This is all of the new tf toys out today.
I do not like the terrorcons due to the translucent plastic. I am waiting for trailcutter and bought none of what they had.

I met jnguyen about a year or so ago, I was in BR for work and did a trade. Nice guy. Not sure if I've accidentally run into any other board members before, but I used to do a lot of figure hunting before I resigned myself to just preordering new sets. Also...

I'm a "scruffy guy with long hair" that goes to that TRU. I usually visit that location every other week after I pick up my comics from BSI on Wednesdays. But I couldn't verify if I'm THAT guy she's talking about. I did get a tipoff and picked up MP Soundwave for a friend, but might get one for myself next time I see one (not as urgent since I have the Takara versions already). Anyways...

Was at the Manhattan Target this evening and picked up the exclusive Predacons Darksteel and Skylynx. They have a few more of each, in addition to all the other Predacons Rising exclusives. I really wanted to pick up the super huge Predaking but diverted some funds to a few other items earlier in the night. They didn't seem to have any of the newer, non-exclusive figures though.
