Awfully curious about what they'll do with this story given that we have Rodimus Prime and the Mistress of Flame on the Council. That and that, as has been said a few times here, that Windblade has been turned into an IDW Arcee with a grudge against the Gestalts.

It's more likely referring to the cartoon is an aspect of the first portion of the trilogy, just as the toyline and comic storyline were. It's just that the cartoon is the one aspect of the first portion that's coming so much later than the other aspects.

You guys forget how bent she was when she found Decepticons tampering with Metroplex. In the end this is a delightful reimagining. What if Starscream wasn't manipulating events in the background, what if Optimus wasn't there, what if there was no negotiating, what if Windblade was betrayed? How would that affect a character that has never seen a war. I am still excited to see some originality brought to Transformers.

I'm not forgetting; it's just I know it's not her dominant personality. She got angry and pissed about Decepticons tampering with Metroplex. Well... yeah. Of course she did. She isn't some sort of detached unrealistic robot who cannot feel anger - the point is rather that it doesn't fit her to be like this all the time. Most of the time she's calm, optimistic and altruistic - that's what defines her and it helps make her a parallel of Starscream. This doesn't feel like a version of Windblade as much as it feels just a random personality thrown into her CGI model.
And in any case, it's not really original. We've seen "war and the people who have made it have destroyed me and so I will get my revenge" a billion times, even in just Transformers alone - and the way she's being portrayed, as many have pointed out, is just IDW Arcee.

Since Menasor's legs are both the same car mold with the hood folded in front like a kneecap, seems he has Wildrider as a leg instead of Offroad.

Voice actor extraordinaire and fellow Seibertronian jON3.0 has some exclusive news on the new Hasbro and Machinima collaboration for the animated series Transformers Combiner Wars! Thanks to their Youtube channel, we have our first official Trailer for Machinima's upcoming Combiner Wars show! The series will bring to screens the Windblade-centric story based on the work of John Barber and Mairghread Scott for IDW Publishing, and will see 9 episodes of 5 minutes each, featuring the talents of Jon Bailey, among many others. The new Trailer is a minute and a half, and shows off some of the actual animated footage from the show. If one looks closely, they would notice a sniper's scope, Computron and Menasor star again, and there are a fair bit of twists and turns to be found!

Also, Starscream sounds worse in this trailer than he did in his prelude (in which I felt he sounded okay). When he speaks here, I first thought it was a Mistress of Flame speaking before he appeared onscreen to finish his dialogue. He sounds like an old lady.

And there's a lot of Movie sound effects in there.

It really seems like Computron was originally going to be Superion, and that they just changed the latter into the former to make it so there's at least one combiner in this thing whose gonna have a toy out at the same time as the show's airing.
