Though this wasn't really announced, yet. It's just a character design sketch from Maketoy's "Crystal City Chronicles" serial story featured in their catalogue.

That's right maketoys! Now give me starsaber and many more japanese characters. That's where any 3rd party not subject to the dino/combiner....(dinobiner?) Wars should put their focus.

This Atorasu is not for me.

My Ideal 3rd party Dia Atlas needs to look like the 1990 Zone toy or cartoon animation. It needs to be a drill tank-jet robot hybrid. Since these are 3rd party prices it's needs to be Ultra scale to keep cost down.

Also need the other Two zone toys Roadbuster and Sonic Bomber to be Voyager scale toys. that are able to combine with Ultra Dai Atlas to form that super Vehicle mode. Love to see 3rd parties do a trio combined robot mode that Takara never did. Could be something like Armada Prime, Jetfire and Overload's robot combiner.

This guy can easily be retooled into...NOMINUS PRIME! If that should ever happen, I will, for the first time in my life, double dip on a mold. Looking forward to seeing Atorasu in Q4 2015/Q1 2016, followed by MT Drift. :grin:
