This picture sums up my verdict
....seen a few other reviews which show Hercules to be a very solid toy, he picked it up and shook it hard and it hardly moved staying together fine, he also didnt have problems with loose joints.

I've finally completed Giant with set C (thank you Kapow!) and having it in hand....well lets just say Herc is great but Giant just fits in better with my collection and having taken the gamble on the Maketoys version I'm ready to regrow that kidney I sold to buy Giant to do it all again for the DEFINITIVE green Devy.
Sorry Herc, looks like the Unicron shelf for stuff that just doesn't fit for you.........

Exactly what movie is he talking about that has a bad guy who clones himself but makes the clones different for "fun"? I'd like to see it. Maybe he clones one without eyes so he can always win at I-spy.
I don't necessarily disagree with TJDuckett's conclusion that MakeToys' robot modes are better but I'd say his reasons are clutching at straws. I'm not saying that the TFC robots are closer to the G1 originals, but they look like a team in the same way the G1 figures did: uniformed size, colour scheme, even articulation for god's sake. MakeToys' robots look like a team in the same way the red team in Team Fortress 2 looks like a team. You know... except they're yellow. Or green. If he wants personality in his inert team of Constructicons I guess MakeToys is the way to go. Just not sure that's the best reason.
I do find it amusing that Long Haul is arguably the best of the TFC bunch but the worst of MakeToys.
To those who will be owning both the yellow and green versions of Giant: could someone take a photo of green Giant but with yellow Dump Truck, please? I want to see if it looks like the Hulk.

Actually, I think Long Haul is one of the best in Giant. Sure, he doesn't look like the original but his articulation is AMAZING.Sodan-1 wrote:I do find it amusing that Long Haul is arguably the best of the TFC bunch but the worst of MakeToys.
