Eh, I see your point but I think it's a good price. $37.50 a figure plus a free MFB works for me in terms of third party pricing. I think the $120 number was just a fan made number that was pulled out of thin air and caught fire.

I'm laughing because regardless if this is true or not (I 100% highly doubt this is true), some poor guy is going to overpay in the multitudes for this because the ebay sellers now have something to go on that they increase the price of these guys exponentially.

Agreed, Maketoys Swerve will probably work out cheaper...

Yeah, ebay just went from $25 to $35 and the quantities are minuscule compared to the 30+ they had in stock. We are better going off with MT.

Well that's unfortunate... at least I won't regret going all in on these guys if that is the case.

I somehow think Hasbro's "cancellation" of Cosmos & Swerve are just until the move stuff passes.

We will probably find them at retail by christmas.
Possibly on HTS or in Ross & TJ Maxx, much like their last cancelled round of stuff.

Well look what I just got!











Not bad for having only shipped on Friday... Got a busy day ahead so no time for a proper review or anything, but the joints are lovely and tight, though the part where the wrist is meant to fold and clip in seems a little too stiff to clip in for me. Don't want to force it. Also, they have 4mm peg hands which is a little annoying when the hands could have been 5mm fairly easily, and means anyone buying a My First Blaster for a different Swerve toy will need to mod the handle. Also, Cogwheel has a little sticker on his chest to prevent paint wear, which is a nice touch.

Hopefully this is a sign everyone else gets theirs soon!

Given that neither TFsource or BBTS even has so much as a pre-order page up for these guys yet, I'd say 'soon' is kind of a long shot

The new preorders were a great thing to wake up to, went for all pieces (including MFB and Armageddon kit). But I'm surprised retailers aren't able to lock down a better expected date than Q2. Did MT complete a small run for Action Robo before working on the rest of the regular orders? At this rate, I'm hoping either an item or two from my expected March orders get delayed, or that all these pieces come in during April when I have less product (as of now) to pay for.

I'm afraid these guys are going to be like FP Roadbuster for me. With a decent Hasbro version of Swerve coming out, I don't think I can justify the money for these guys. It's a great set. The price point is decent for what they are. I like the comics and the idea behind that My First Blaster blaster. It's just not enough to grab my money at this time.

After much compare/contrast, I gotta admit that I like this Swerve/Gears better than any others produced. I'm happy to have preordered them.

I am very close to pulling the trigger. Gah, I usually only get 3P if Has/Tak are not doing the character. I probably would not have gotten Defender if it were on sale today, even though I really like the figure.
