Making the Impossible...

...Possible.

More pics to come later. Sorry. I've been up all night working on this guy.

It took lots of Dremiling parts on the inside to allow the waist to slide in like that. It's a b!tch cutting Diecast.

Anyhoo, you can see the mods I did. New fists/hands thanks to spare Alt Sideswipe hands and New Theighs thanks to a Classics Starscream.

Trimmed down the Crotch, added the ball joints from Starscream's hips to the sliding hip posts of Soundwave's and enlongated the crotch holes to allow it to slide after I trimmed down the diecast and the Door clips on the inside.

For now, enjoy.

TFM

TFM Edit: oh and I gave his head/neck a balljoint.

Looking good. Love the hands, and slender thighs.
But not to sound like a jerk, the crotch/diaper still looks a little big.

Wheres laserbeak?

Looks good.

I agree with the statement about the crotch area though.
Any way you could make that smaller/shorter?

based on his transformation and design I think TFmaster has done jsut about all he can to modify the diaper crotch. After seeing this guy in person its not quite as bad as it looks in pics, but I still don't understand why they didn't jsut use a smaller version of the original design but with ball joints added.

I do not disagree. I think waht TFmaster did vastly improved the overall look of TIT Soundwave. And I don't understand what hasbro had been thinking either. They just really didn't put that much thought into it obvously. But now I really can't wait to get my hands on a few of them, a real kitbash challenge, makes me feel all warm and fuzy inside.

far as I know, this was all there was to it, that he only intended to try to make his diaper not look like a diaper.

Thanks TM2...It's very nice but at the same time it makes me feel like shhit...
Can somebody please tell me where the hands come from?
I'd like to use them on my Soundwave and probably other projects.

the hands TFM used are from an alternator.

That's what I see but I thought alternator hands were too big to fit deluxe size. I'm surprised it fits and I'll do the same.

I'm pretty sure they're Alt. Sideswipe hands. That mold's got the tiniest hands of all the Alts, afterall.
