this guy in my class says sonic is better but i say mario because the games are more of a challenge mario has the invinsibility star and the fire flower and sonic only has speed. so who do you think is better?

Sonic has a lot more than just speed.
Overall I like the Sonic games better since they kinda try and be more grown up and you have to complete the game numerous times to really finish it.

Oh and Mario has a mushroom, fire flower, invincibility star, flying cap, metal cap and so on.

Sonic also has quite a few upgrades and weapons, such as chaos control, I say play Sonic games before you judge him.

Mario, quite easily. See, Miyamoto works on this weird strategy: Make a game that doesn't suck.

Sonic has had only a few good games since the move to 3D, and most of them were 2.5D. (3D graphics on a side-scroller)

i did play sonic games before. they suck cuz to me theres not much of a challenge and beating a game over and over again gets boring really fast.

Sonic games are a quick bit of fun, but Mario games are the ones I look forward to playing again and again, and will work hard at finishing them.

I like both, but I do prefere Sonic. He just seems like the cooler character.

That's very true. It happend a lot to me too. In the end I'd spend the entire race picking on Yoshi, just generally bashing him up so badly that even Donkey Kong lapped him

Can't wait for the next mario kart. Awesomeness all round!

And so far, Sonic has impressed me on Brawl. He looks to have quite a few cool-if nothing else- moves.

yup, someone would use the shrinky mushroom thing, and he'd then run into the back of me and kill us both :-x

I can handle it one, two maybe ten times, but it was EVERY FLIPPIN TIME!!!!!! Then add on his stupid egg's, which i swear to god used to move into my kart dammit.........................grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

sadly sonic the wii sonic game sucked like really bad..... if anything rent it. it the same frickin level over and over again.....just get mario. that game is amazing..when ever i play it im so into i keep saying to myself "ok 1 more star then ill stop" like 3 hrs later i do stop lmao....
