..and please no haters.
Of all the Ironman figures released (then later rereleased for the Ironman film lines), which would you say (A) makes the most sense for the character but mainly (B) is the best figure in general?

Re: Marvel/TF Crossover lovers - Need opinion..
Personally I think the best overall figure/look is the Iron Man from the 'Spider-Man / Iron-Man' two pack. I personally don't like the combined aspect, but as a stand alone, it's still the best looking one to me. As far as making sense, well, none of them. Iron Man doesn't need to transform and all of his powers come from a robotic suit anyway.

The sports car is a very solid figure. So is the latest jet incarnation. The jet from the 2-pack with Spiderman is good, but I prefer that mold for War Machine since that is the only War Machine repaint.
If you are getting into this line, I recommend Thor, Ghost Rider, and either of the Hulk figures.

Agreed, the original jet and latest car are really nice Iron Men, the jet being the better IMO. The combiner is OK.
And I would love Thor, but I can't get past his alt mode colors, it's like "My First Warthog" by Playskool. Hurts my eyes. Hulk tank is great too.

I LOVE the sports car. I'll buy it some day, but I just think it looks great and it's so "Tony." Personally, I think the jet works better as War Machine. makes more sense.

I have two from the Iron Man 2 line: the sports car and the War Machine (which is the repaint of Iron Man from the combiner).
Of the two, I think the sports car fits Stark the best. It's a nice, solid, and easy to transform figure that looks good in both modes.
That being said, I like the War Machine figure the best (although I probably wouldn't like it as much if it wasn't in black). He has open repulsor palms rather than fists and his missile lanchers can be removed from his wings and mounted on his shoulders. Plus, the plane mode looks cool and unique.
So basicall, IMO, car for Iron Man, but if you don't care if it's Iron Man or War Machine, get War Machine.
I hope that helps!

I dont own any of the iron man figures, but I'd say the jet from the IM2 release.
The cars are ok, but you said representing the character, and he's a flying character these days, so why have an alt mode that cant fly and robot mode that can? Suddenly he's optimus primal =p?

Got'im (First one! Love THOR! Jet mode's off, but the robot mode is decent to have), got'im (killer robot mode, bike kinda blows), and got'im (Grey version, I've always had an inkling for the Gray Hulk - Is there a red on the way, perhaps?)
And I have to agree with most, items like the jets and sports car make a lot of sense for Tony Stark to have. It had suddenly occured to me that after Thor, Hulk, Wolvie (brown & yellow costume colors), Ghost Rider, and Capt America that I didn't have the Marvel character most likely to have such a vehicle-to-mech figure; Ironman! When collecting, I always have a context, which is why I asked which makes sense.
So it seems car-mode Tony, and a jet War Machine make most sense while being coolest. Having checked pics upon pics after posting this topic, I think I'd agree. I'd seen the Ironman with Spiderman combo at stores, but the jet didn't quite catch with me with the Ironman colors, and I didn't care for the combined mode. Off to purchase, thanks folks!
Oh, and to Screamfleet. I see where you're coming from, and a bit of me agreed. You think Ironman, you think flying robotic suit. But then, it's Tony Stark, so a sportscar is almost inevitable. And if you're talking versatility, car mode with a flying robot mode makes uber sense to me anyway.
And thanks again guys. This is the kind of result that gives me love & faith for the TF fandom.

That is good point, tony stark/sports car goes hand in hand.
I guess I was thinking less secret identity, more super hero.
