You know, I never thought about it until now, but Exhaust's visor kinda reminds me of that of Kamen Rider Ryuki/Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

That's a bit of a stretch IMO. In that case, the faceplate of the G1 Wildrider toy reminds me of that Kamen Rider Ryuki/Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

To be fair, the Prime Wheeljack mold isn't really G1-esque either, so to say Dead End and Wildrider don't look like Wheeljack isn't a great comparison.

Prime Wildrider is stated to have taken Wheeljack's form in his bio. As for Prime Dead End... I wouldn't know.

The good and the bad. Just received Exhaust (yahoo!) The bad (my WJ decals from Ocean which I ordered 5 days prior to Exhaust shipping hasn't arrived yet.....booooooooo)
The pics I'll upload once I have all the decals in. Robot wise, a great repaint/retool. Mold hasn't deteriorated yet and well, Exhaust looks just as cool if not cooler thatn WJ
Decal issues, the Britax decal that goes on his doors, it worked well for WJ but the new tampos on Exhaust doesn't align properly.

That sucks cause he's a really nice figure. After missing out on too many MP figures (cause I didn't know where to find them) someone directed me to HLJ.com, amiami.com and anime-export.com. Even after shipping and exchange rate I've found them to be very well priced and I haven't missed a single one that I've remembered to preorder. All of this doesn't solve your current issue unfortunately though, since they are all sold out long before the release date.
I too would be interested in knowing if there is a reliable seller out there that has reasonably priced legitimate stock after a release.

I take it you did'nt reserve earlier at hlj? They are now at astronomically high 2ndary market prices.There was a link around here by LOST CYBERTRONIAN at Nippon Yasan. It's double the actual retail price back then.

And since I had not heard anything, as well as the sellers stores rep for getting items, i thought i was solid.
The store only let me know today that it would not be getting the stock and refunded me the loot.
After seeing those other sites online prices, i think I just might pass on him altogether as the inflated
price is not in my budget.
Hopefully down the line, something may pop up for a reasonable amount of duckets and i will snag it.
