100% "ie". That is not a speculation
Those releases with voice clips like Fortmax and G1 Glvatron., those were voice clips from the original show and not new lines.
The G1 Galvatron toy I mentioned, I meant the purple people eater version. The original 1986 ver just has those peew peew sounds. TL Fortress, I know those voice clips are canned from the original show, same with the TAV ( though for that I can only attest to the 1st bell bottom version which I own ).
Or wait, what about the Kenzan, Gekisoumaru, and Optimus ExPrime toys' clips from the Go! line? Didn't that Optimus toy come out before he appeared in that form in that cartoon?
I'm asking if Takara has ever released any TF toy whose clips were recorded specifically for the toy either before or instead of for the toy's corresponding cartoon.fenrir72 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What about the sound clips from something as far back as Super Fire Convoy and God Magnus from the Car Robots toyline?fenrir72 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What about other Takara toys with voice clips? The cartoon is part/extension of the product advertisement. So it's not surprising that the product will incorporate some aspects of the show i.e the voice/S.E. gimmicks. Far back in 1987/88, Masterforce packaging used a lot of animation images in their packaging..........again, an extension of the advertisement of the product.
So what's the issue you are positing? then? Newly recorded sound clips or canned archived sound clips from the show?

More than likely it will be clips of Seizō Katō's G1 Megatron taken from the Japanese dub of the G1 cartoon.Ultra Markus wrote:does it talk in some Japanese voice or in Frank Welkers voice

It sounds like they thought you were asking them to put an orange plug on the barrel rather than asking if they were legally obligated to do so for every figure.SpaceKaseJase wrote:Just wanted all who are in the US and are considering ordering from anime-export (cheapest so far, I believe) to know that I inquired about including the orange plug. Hello SpaceKaseJase*,
we can do this service for free, however we will have to open the box and transform it to gun. It will be up to each customers to choose.
Best regards

Will you include an orange plug for the barrel of Takara MP-36 for US customers?
Thanks,

SpaceKaseJase wrote:I see your point. I was under the impression any toy that resembles a gun and does not have an orange "safety plug", can be confiscated by customs. Sounds like any US company that imports toy weapons are obligated to put these plugs in, but since I'm ordering out of the country, I won't need it. I guess I need to find someone who has been in this situation before to verify. Again, hate to find out the hard way. Guess I'll inquire again. Appreciate the input.

they just do an x-ray scan and done. but who knows. if they ship it in gun mode that would most definetly be found. What happened when mp-05 was shipped was there any problems. besides australia and a few other places.

He got banned from EBay. No kidding. Otherwise no real reports elsewhere in the world. But laws are changing constantly, especially with all the gun chaos in the US.
