A little while back I picked up a duplicate of the 20th Anniversary Edition Optimus Prime through an ebay bid for a custom MP01 trailer. I decided that I would attempt my first custom paint job, creating my own version of Nemesis Prime/Scourge.

i really like it. only crit i can give is the lack of details like metallic cab lights and shoulder vents. overall, clean job and most importantly, looks like factory.

y'know, that never came to mind. I ought to get some silver paint and detail not only the lights, but perhaps also the windsheild wipers. Thanks for the insights!

Are Nemesis Prime and Scourge related? Are they one and the same character?

I thought Scourge and Nemesis Prime were the same character.. or similar characters between two difference universes. I could be wrong though.. I really didn't pay much attention to any TF franchise beyond G1 :/

*runs off to wikipedia*

Auto Bot; the helmet I fashioned from a black plastic dvd case cut to size (tweezers and an exacto knife? yeah, that's safe) and those small round pieces were sliced off of the inside tube of a bic pen. I was really surprised that they fit so nicely together.

scourge is proper here, but call him what you want, you did a fantastic job on him. i like the added smokestacks and fine details you added since your first post. that was all he needed. i can get these primes here for clearance price. may get 2 for UM and nemy/scourge repaints.

Clearance price eh? Funny you should mention that. I'm looking for another masterpiece prime for another prime figure I want to build. Do you have any prices you could throw my way? These days, ebay is far too bloated on their prices. Let me know either way!
