These will both be great. Can't wait for a decent version of Ironhide, and that 70's into 80's Corvette Stingray is one of my favorite sports cars of all times. Especially in Tracks' deco.

I agree too that we need more cons. I hope we get MP triple changers someday.

Great news. I will buy MP Tracks and Ironhide for sure. The choice to release a red Tracks is obviously a financial decision. I would like it if they released MP Jazz or Receptor instead. An MP triple changer would be very nice too.

I agree. Hopefully the murmurs (because the word 'rumor' might be a bit strong in this case) of MP Megatron are accurate. Until then, I think we can expect Coneheads while we wait... as much as I want Shockwave and Reflector, like, right now.

Honestly, as silly as Reflector is, he really would fill out the Decepticon ranks on my MP shelf... he's 3 bots in one package.

I know a lot of people want more Decepticons, but if you break it down, the Autobots are still under represented. Just taking the '84 lineup, all the Decepticons have MP representation, while the Autobots are missing 12! (Brawn, Cliffjumper, Gears, Hound, Huffer, Ironhide, Jazz, Mirage, Ratchet, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker and Windcharger) I'd love to see Reflector, Shockwave, etc., but I'd also like to see them just bang out the rest of the Ark crew because they are lagging behind. Bring on the Autobots!

FINALLY! The (almost) figure I invested in Masterpiece for is coming!!! Ironhide!!! I can't wait until Ratchet is a thing. Also, I hope they don't have the weapons stand thing like the G1 toy, I need one cohesive transforming figure!

if giving both of them their weapons bay's/medical bays allows them to be more accurate in robot mode, i'm all for it.

after all.. ratchets did show up in the cartoon.. so it's still screen accurate.

I think it has more to do with him being an exclusive. Exclusives always get designated with a letter, whether or not they're a new character. That's the bottom line. With that:

- New mold? New number.
- Straight redeco? Usually exclusive, so added letter (I'm discounting Frenzy and Rumble since they're a pair).
- Retool? New number if main line release, letter if exclusive.

Exhaust has proven that any character, no matter how obscure, is fair game for the main line.

*EDIT* Before anyone starts with MP-13B Soundblaster with Ratbat, consider Ratbat an exclusive accessory like G2 Bumble's jetpack.

The numbering doesn't bother me as long as they keep making new MP's and don't decide to stop at #30. And let's not stray away from consistent looking boxes while we are at it.

Don't get too excited, guys. Taobao is a C2C website, like eBay, rather than a B2C website like BBTS/TFSource/Amazon/HLJ/etc.

Any unofficial person could post whatever listings they wanted onto Taobao in an attempt to fool any poor soul. Without concrete enough evidence like a genuine photo of the toys, this is like if someone on eBay claimed to have a new toy for sale that we had never heard of and didn't provide photographic evidence to back their claims.

I'm not saying to completely disregard this as completely false, but to just treat it as it is: A rumor, not fact. All so that we don't get our hopes up to high and be disappointed if it turns out to not be true.

Nope. tsu meant that in besides the 3rd party Apollyon, there were rumors that MP-25 would be an updated Megatron. It was rumored way before that equally awesome looking Legends Megatron.

While repaint potential is small, they would really milk the shared parts amongst the 3 bots.

It would be such a cool nod to Microman if they did Reflector. He's one of the very first TFs. At some point the re-paintability has to wear out. Doncha think?

The more I thinkabout this it doesn't seem right. Tracks seems premature at this stage, and it would set a new precedent for Takara to announce a repaint at the same time as the mold originator. Also, why announce Road Rage without also announcing Ratchet? I don't buy it

i was thinking the same thing. but im trying to stay "glass is half full".

everyones main issue (more cons) doesnt really bother me. the ones im waiting for are the coneheads, megatron V2, and shockwave. and for everyone excluding shockwave, takara could presumably make them whenever they want as theres no licensing constraints.
