Don't shout too loud or the multitude of 3rd Party companies that have/will have a large and very expensive MP styled 'Not-Grimlock' will get worried! :lol:

Grimlock is a very big character in more ways than one. I would like to think Hasbro and Takara have a redesigned, rescaled Masterpiece Grimlock ready to go but are waiting on just the right time to announce him!

If they do, I would think it would be waaaay down the road as many are pleased with the MP treatment he received. I think a new Grimlock mold would be a harder sell than MP-10.

Your best bet for show-scale is the upcoming FansToys not-Grimlock.

My theory is the MP-08 Grimlock was developed before they made the decision on scaling further releases. While I know his height is not show-accurate to his early appearances, he seemed to have shrunk in season 3. There is also the fact that his height is pretty much toy-accurate when comparing G1 Optimus to G1 Grimlock, but I realize this is likely no consolation, either.

While it would be nice to have a larger Grimlock, I'd much rather they developed other characters instead. The Grimlock we have is just fine, lets get more newer stuff. As stated, 3rd party companies are likely to take care of that need for you.

True. But in the end, these scale issues can be solved by leaving him in dino-mode. He always looks big and impressive when t-rex'n it up.

I wish these rumored MPs wouldn't pop up in this particular format, since any Average Joe could take a piece of G1 art and slap a big red number on it.

Regardless let's just hope it's true. Ironhide and especially Jazz are high on my wishlist!

I got the iGear Ratchet last week or so and was actually quite happy with it, if it wasn't for these Ironhide rumors I'd probably go for his iGear version aswell.

Cliffjumper was never a VW Beetle (or a retool of Bumblebee back in G1), he was a Super-Deformed Porsche 924 Turbo. He'd require a complete reshell.

They are similar, but not the same. The biggest difference is somewhat blockier design and the spoiler on the back of Cliffjumper:

Yeah, Ratchet is a straight redeco of Ironhide...there isn't really one for 'Bee outside of "made up" characters like Bugbite. If we ever get Jazz, I'd expect a Ricochet soon thereafter since they are making "made up" characters like Road Rage.

That's why "made up" was in quotes. To me they are legit characters, but off the beaten path. Exhaust is "made up", but I'm certainly getting him.

Cliff jumper wasn't actually the same vehicle as Bumblebee.

Had it been a Dreamwave MTMTE picture of the guy with the ID number in Arial, your crafty cleverness might have indeed thrown me for a loop! But, nay, I say! For I am no fool to be falling for such a ploy! I know G1 box art when I sees it, and that be quite the difference from Dreamwave's special brand o' imagery! Considering how so many who wanted a blue Bluestreak when the figure that ultimately became MP Silverstreak was first hinted at got their hopes raised up so high and were severely crushed when the truth was revealed, I'm not gonna have any feelings about this until something more concrete comes to light.
