Razzerian wrote:Do you guys (and girls) think that they'd consider re-scaling Masterpiece Grimlock at some point to better fit in to the post MP-10 Masterpiece line?
His scale is just very puzzeling, he's way too small to fit in with MP-1 and even too small in comparisson to MP-10. I know there are the add-on pieces for him to make him slightly bigger, but do you guys think they'd ever considering just re-scaling him completely down the road?

If they do, I would think it would be waaaay down the road as many are pleased with the MP treatment he received. I think a new Grimlock mold would be a harder sell than MP-10.

True. But in the end, these scale issues can be solved by leaving him in dino-mode. He always looks big and impressive when t-rex'n it up.Ironhidensh wrote:While it would be nice to have a larger Grimlock, I'd much rather they developed other characters instead. The Grimlock we have is just fine, lets get more newer stuff. As stated, 3rd party companies are likely to take care of that need for you.

I got the iGear Ratchet last week or so and was actually quite happy with it, if it wasn't for these Ironhide rumors I'd probably go for his iGear version aswell.

If they make Ironhide, Ratchet is a given.

I wouldn't mind that whatsoever, got iGear Ratchet on the cheap anyway. And I think Ratchet is inevitable anyway since he was such an important character in the original G1 series.
But that doesn't mean if Ironhide is coming as let's say MP27 that we'll be getting Ratchet as MP 28 or even MP30.
Look at Bumblebee, we got him but we haven't gotten a Cliffjumper yet, instead we got G2 Bumblebee. Granted, Cliffjumper is far from as an important character as Ratchet is but still, I'd expect them to bring out a repaint before the VW license expires.

Cliffjumper was never a VW Beetle (or a retool of Bumblebee back in G1), he was a Super-Deformed Porsche 924 Turbo. He'd require a complete reshell.
There's also Glyph to redeco Bee into.sol magnus wrote:Yeah, Ratchet is a straight redeco of Ironhide...there isn't really one for 'Bee outside of "made up" characters like Bugbite. If we ever get Jazz, I'd expect a Ricochet soon thereafter since they are making "made up" characters like Road Rage.

Though, I don't the point in referred to post-1980s G1 redecos as "made up" characters, since the 1980s characters were "made up" themselves.

Aha, good sir! I see what you're playing at! That is clearly a G1 box art picture of Skullcruncher with the ID number in Comic Sans! Had it been a Dreamwave MTMTE picture of the guy with the ID number in Arial, your crafty cleverness might have indeed thrown me for a loop! But, nay, I say! For I am no fool to be falling for such a ploy! I know G1 box art when I sees it, and that be quite the difference from Dreamwave's special brand o' imagery! Along with the Comic Sans font bein' far from Arial. Hehe. Better ye try it again next time, good sir.ScottyP wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I wish these rumored MPs wouldn't pop up in this particular format, since any Average Joe could take a piece of G1 art and slap a big red number on it.
I have no idea what you're talking about. My super secret, super serious source just sent me this in my Netscape email:

Considering how so many who wanted a blue Bluestreak when the figure that ultimately became MP Silverstreak was first hinted at got their hopes raised up so high and were severely crushed when the truth was revealed, I'm not gonna have any feelings about this until something more concrete comes to light.shajaki wrote:Really? No reaction to a possible BLUEstreak?
I am SO ready to get my hopes up!
