They are intended to be silly references to the figures they are mode to go with.
Un_Chakal wrote:They all seem to be composed of 2 different kinds of parts. All the same head, 2 different torsos, 2 different arms, 2 different types of legs all swapped up between the 4 different figures.
Still I'm getting them for my Classics guys. I hope they give them different heads at least.
I'm holding Mega-Gun right now, as well as some parts I had printed on Shapeways. How can you compare the two and call MasterShooter's product raw and unfinished? It's smooth ABS plastic verses whatever that rough stuff Shapeways prints with. He is blocky, but then so was G1 Megatron in the cartoon. How is he "raw and unfinished"?cylor wrote:BeastProwl wrote:I want them, esp. since their C-Clip compatible, but I'm guessing Price and Quality and such will all keep me away...
This. In fact the two Megatron figures where about 35$+shipping, and they both looked raw and unfinished.
As I am living in Europe, I might go for the Shapeways route: the Drawn-steel hero designs look amazing. I'm a bit concerned about possible rub issues on the painted ball joints, though...
NemesisMonkeySupreme wrote:the added articulation is nice, but I was really disappointed with the "Megatron" Mega-Gun I got. Granted, that was essentially v1 and these are looking like v2. But robots with a giant cannon sticking out their arse just doesn't do it for me…
So if anyone is wanting a Mega-Gun… complete and repackaged?

I bet Shot Piece is a reference to **** Piece from that Return of Optimus Prime spoof by DrSmoov.
Durrrrr...

I'm sorry, do you have something to say on the matter, troll?

Is that the Targetroid Megs your referring to or that other 3rd party and it looked like a small version of Megatron and was available in two different colors...I think. I didn't like the Targetroids but I've been wondering about the other 3rd party fig, I never saw the release.![]()
Sodan-1 wrote:Well that seems about right. After months searching ebay and spending up to £100 on Targetmasters and Minicons from here, there and everywhere in preperation for some custom paint work; NOW a 3rd party company gets round to making these. Typical.
The robot modes look pretty good with the extra articulation, but the weapon modes are little too G1 accurate for my likings, i.e. fugly.

Explaining the joke doesn't make it funny. Plus someone already said this in a not-so-obvious way earlier.
