I remember when McDonalds toys were cool; or maybe I'm just wearing my rose-tinted glasses.
Maybe a bit. Cause for every really cool set of toys, there was still really crappy ones.

Very true. The BW through BM promos at McDonald's had some great toys. Even the Armada promo was ok. The Cybertron promo at BK was a bit lack luster, but they still transformed. With these, they coulda even done a flip top robot mode kinda thing. That coulda been cool. Eh, what can you do?
