So, this looks to be an anime/comic style head?
I'm not sure I want my MP Soundwave looking like a Gundham, but it's nice looking.
EDIT: maybe it's to give TRU Soundwave folks a red visor?

Music Label Soundwave was "Classics"... but I suppose it was some ways back, and not very affordable for most. Not that a 3rd Party Soundwave will be cheaper...

Yea he doesn't really fit in all to well in my opnion, but it's mostly nitpicky things.

My first thought was: "wow. Optimus head on Megatron body. That's....interesting. 
" But now I see the Soundwave in it. I guess with Laserbeak on the arm I tend to think of Megarton holding him. And the shoulder cannon was pointing straight up ala Megatron. Probably comes from seeing the animated movie so many times.

Well, subjective opinion, to each their own, and all of that... but I always thought he fit in just fine. I'm certainly happy to have him in my Classics collection. Looks like a cracking good Soundwave in both modes, is quite poseable, and stands about the same height as the Classics seeker mold.

Hmmm.... Not filled with optimism for this for some reason. The stature's a bit meh, like Sonicron. Also the head makes me think of Tarn.

2 years ago I would have really been interested in this, but now not so much.
I really love my FOC Soundwave actually, and I also have ML Soundwave and MP Soundwave now.

The news alone had me excited, but these pics are a little underwhelming. Maybe my expectations of a CHUG Soundwave are too high, but I'll need to see some better pics before I'll be ready to commit to this.
*sigh* Still wishing PE would have just gone and done their Soundwave... why go through remaking all the cassetticons if you're not going to release their master?

Im so feeling a Classics Soundwave and a SoundBlaster repaint ! And a Lazerbeak too ? sweet !!! Now I don't have to waste money on MP Soundwave just for the cassettes. I hope it's voyager scale, slightly shorter than Hegemon. All that nitpicking is pointless. It's a godamn proper G1 style classics Soundwave, Bring it on !!!

I'm much more intrested in this sw he's a new mold and looking to be a g1 alt mode and minions that i asume will be fitting in his chest plus he could be shooting a lazer from his shoulder cannon, cant ask for much more .
Not totaly sold yet the waist for one thing looks too blocky when turned like that and the leg articulation with the waist piece having the tape deck buttons it doesnt look like his legs can move forward and back other than that for now he looks decent enough . I wish they had just posed him standing straight.
Also that pic of i think is supposed to be LB doesnt look much like render

The design of the Laserbeak from the MS02 photo is actually closer to the MP version.

Yep definitely . This version is a meh also looks like it has cannons under it's chest and the feet/legs look wrong i hope they sort this out to be more like the render.
