Well, best of luck, but did anuone realy thing he was gonna get a spot for his song with all the other changes they made to this franchise.

I wouldn't be suprized if at some point the play The Touch in the backround or something, but thats about it.

Stan's had quite a few CDs since TF (15 I think?), but his basic sound hasn't changed--which can be good and bad. The good is that his songs all sound like they came from the 80s. The bad is that they STILL sound like they come from the 80s. It's his strength and weakness.

Although I don't have the US version of his latest album, he's done a few good songs on the version of In This Life that I've got.

I saw this about a week ago on youtube, I was hoping that IDW was toying with the idea, I'd watch that show!

I think TFs has come to far to keep being represented with subpar anime art and less than spectacular CGI(looking at you Cybertron).

It would definetly be good to see them step it up!

No, I don't work for IDW :-)

Just thought it would be a challenge / fun hobby to turn a comic book into a cartoon. I can't draw worth @%$@ so it's all been playing with photo shop. Glad you like it!

I think that Nirvana's songs might be good for Transformers' heavy metal action. How about 'Negative Creep' for a Decepticon?

I take it you didn't read some of the other posts (including mine) following your claim that Stan didn't do a version of the theme. Vince DiCola arranged and played a version of the theme (the alternate theme that was not used in the film, but can be found on the rerelease of the soundtrack and the Botcon CDs). Stan provided the vocals for this unused track. This is a well known fact and has been stated by Vince himself. Though, since Vince arranged the track, he gets credited here. Stan does/does not receive a credit depending on where you look.

For instance, take a look at the Amazon listing below (track number 14).

So, Stan did perform on the track, but did not arranged it, thus he is not always credited.
