Shame, I was never around to see the awesome black "Thriller" Michael Jackson, but was only around to ses the creepy looking, white, small nosed Michael Jackson. He died too young. :sad:

God, all of these people dying is really depressing. First Ed McMahon dies, then Farrah. And now MJ's gone too! WTf-ing slag is going on here?! All of the great actors from when a lot of us grew up (well, people of the x and y gen.'s, if not a bit older) are dying off...Really sad, and makes me feel old at 23. Hate to know how I'm going to feel when I get older at this rate |:-|

Yeah. Karl Malden just died too. He was 97. I know most of you don't know him, but I used to watch Streets of San Francisco with my grandfather all the time. That show was great. R.I.P. Karl.

Yeah, I saw that too. He actually looked better than in recent years. Perhaps it was due to all the medication, which ultimately caught up to him...

He's getting a bronze, gold-plated, hand-finished casket with blue velvet inside, the same kind that the "Godfather of Soul" James Brown was buried in.

Just wanted to say my part. I grew up on Michael and my first favorite song as a child was 'Beat It.' which actually, introduced me to Van Halen and rock music. Michael inspired good things all around the world. He fed the hungry...he brought the world together with his immense talent. I never believed all of the negative media that surrounded him. When you are the most famous musician in history everyone wants a piece of you. Just wanted to say peace Michael Jackson. Through all the crap we still believe in your dream. As you can see, you are missed by the majority of the world.

I still can't believe Michael Jackson is really gone. Whatever you may think of his personal life, you cannot deny his talent and creativity. He really had a profound impact on the music industry. What makes it really sad is that he was planning a comeback tour when he died. RIP, Michael.

I agree. Me and the wife planned on attending one of the London shows. I just found my old Michael Jackson autograph I got from him in 1987! I am off to the frame store. There will never be another MJ. and SCROO the media and all the greedy ass people that tried to take advantage of him for his money! May he finally rest in peace.

I'll put my thoughts here since I haven't done it anywhere else.

When I was still a kid in '96, the very first song I ever heard and truly recognized from Michael Jackson was the Earth Song - I was astounded by this man who could sing SO PASSIONATELY about how we were all destroying the one planet we all share and live in - I cried as his song taught me the cruelty and greed of humanity, and never hated him for it, thanking him instead for making me grow up a little better. I kept singing the song until my older bro went nuts and yelled at me to shut up, eh heh.

Now, it seems that the same sense of human greed possessed by a few individuals leeching on Michael's good nature had well and truly driven him over the edge. I always wanted to meet him, shake hands with him and it seems that will never come true. Despite his death, my stubborn (conservative) dad still views him as a weirdo and pedophile which saddens me alot. For crying out loud, he would anonymously donate money to bedridden children for their treatment!!! I didn't cry when I first heard the news, I was just too...astounded. Disbelief that he died. I'd just silently weep here and there when nobody was looking. Now that my sorrow clears up, most of what I feel about this is a swelling sense of fury at the people that did this to him - I'd spit at Joe Jackson if it weren't the fact that his regime of abuse made Michael the prodigy he was. I also hope Jackson's ex-workers, who made up all sorts of bullshit stories about him to the tabloids for money, live the rest of their lives in shame. Lastly, if I ever find out who is, and meet that dentist **** who started the first pedophile case - forget his name-change, I'll beat his face all bloody and pulpy until nobody can recognize him. Don't mind me, I'm just very angry that all these leeches are still trapising around unpunished and with money they clearly didn't deserve. I'm concerned for the future of his kids...

The man deserves a sainthood. Goodbye Michael, we'll all never forget you.
