Picked up some DotM Deluxes yesterday to take advantage of TRU's BOGO-50% off deal.

The Wreckers are alright. The robot bits are a little bland and begging desperately to be customized. I actually like Crankshaft best. The chain/dreds are a little strange, but he's got that great evil movie look and excellent posability, so I'm diggin' it.
Also picked up The Scan Series Ironhide. He's an adorable little deluxe version that I only got cuz of the deal (it was him or DotM Bumblebee, but that figure wasn't really calling out to me). The only thing I noticed is on the packaging it shows his legs as being all clear, whereas on the figure itself the truck bits are clear but the robot legs are gray. Not a huge deal, but noteworthy.

That about wraps it up for me in this wave of Deluxes. Gotta find out who else is coming.

found a cyberverse powerglide at one of the local walgreens. also picked up an extra turbo tracks if anyone still needs one.

ordered a K.O. city commander set off ebay and got it in the mail yesterday. it's really terrible but i guess better a crappy city commander trailer than none at all.

Checked Livonia TRU for the Kre-Os this morning. All of the tags were gone and the shelves were filled with other stuff. I was told they just didn't show up as expected but should be on one of the two trucks next week.

Hello all. Decided to join up since this seems like a nice place to be. I recently returned back to SE Michigan after being away for some time. I get the feeling that this isn't the greatest place for hunting toys.

Anyway, I did find a whole bunch of those Walmart exclusive Deluxe Optimus Primes at the New Hudson Walmart. They're still only $9.88 and there were at least 10 or so left.

I got my TCC G2 Ramjet in the mail today. He's pretty awesome. And once again, the box he comes in is super sweet. I forgot to post this, but on Friday, AA TRU had the Laserbeak/Thundercracker wave of deluxes. They had a bunch of them. They were up near the big Cars 2 display near the front.

Picked up DotM deluxe Optimus, Mudflap, and thundercracker at the Lapeer Walmart today. They also had the repainted exclusive bumblebee and sideswipe. Probably pick up sideswipe later on.

I was able to grab all the Kre-O sets from Westland TRu today except Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime, Sideswipe, and Starscream.

They had lots of each set, but it does cost a pretty good chunk of change to get all that are currently available.

I picked up most everything at pontiac tru as well. didnt' pick up the little optimus(same size as mirage). His legs look too close together and awkward....someone let me know if he's any good. Talked with the girl behind the counter and she told me that the warehouse had 200 starscreams/optimus/sentinels on order but they weren't scheduled to arrive(at tru warehouses) for a couple of weeks and then who knows when they'd be ordered and shipped to the stores.

The small Prime is okay. The smaller price point bots have no knee articulation, and no shoulder swivel, so they are a bit more limited. At this time, I have small Prime, Mirage and Prowl together. Prowl's shoulders are too low compared to his head, but otherwise he's cool. The other two have better form builds, but have the aforementioned flaws. Prime's legs are a bit close together, but there isn't much too do with them anyway, since they only have leg and ankle swivels. If they had knees, they would be much improved.

Thankfully, they should work with LEGO;s so customizing is an absolute. Having the heads and hands for the robots will help a lot of LEGO builders to create some fantastic models. Some of the hardest challenges I know that I faced when trying were cool/accurate heads, and hands. So these pieces are most welcome.

All in all, they are a cool new way to collect (and play) Transformers.

And the Kre-Ons are absolutely adorable. Cute? Sic? Collectible? Yup.

Well I did mirage and megatron tonight...they are a lot of fun to put together and the kreons, as was mentioned before, are off the chart cool. got megs, shockwave and mirage in front of me and they are all perfect little guys. as tt24 mentioned, the smaller sets are lacking artic, but the pieces and heads should really open things up for easy customization. In regards to megs, He is not bad as the alt. mode from a truck and it is unique and well put together, but he doesn't have his blaster on his arm, and well, how can that be megatron without his arm cannon!!! so definitely gonna have to customize that.

I picked up the small Kre-o Prime at AA TRU yesterday. They also had both Bumblebees, Jazz, Mirage, Prowl and Megatron. The little prime is pretty cool. I Like that he has Classic Prime's head. I do wish that you used all the pieces when in either mode. Do the bigger sets do this? I really would like to get Megatron. I think he looks really good.

AA TRU still had a bunch of the wave 3 DOTM deluxes.

Rc13, the bigger sets don't use all the pieces either. I had a chance to look over megatron a little more last night, and of course, the more I look the more flaws I find. considering you use almost all of the same pieces, and you can make the truck or the alt, it's a pretty good set. BUT as an alt mode display, and as a really cool depiction of megs it is a little lacking. I am excited about finding a way to improve upon his design, and as was mentioned before the head sculpts are really nice and could lead to some much better creations. I haven't done the truck mode, but in bot it's got a couple of why'd they do that things. His arms seem a little long too. overall I'm very happy with it. And if given the chance would definitely buy another set (if discounted) in order to display the original and my mod!

I guess you're right. I didn't pay attention to the instructions closely enough.

I grabbed Kre-O Mirage and Jazz earlier. Absolutely love the Kreons! The boxes are really nice, too. I haven't actually opened the building block bags. I might see if I can sell those on their own for a few bucks.

I put together big BBee last night. Lots of extra pieces! Pretty cool fig too..

Put together prowl last night and you're not kidding tigertracks...his arms are waaaaayy too low. I did a little moving around, added some of the extra pieces, and raised them up. he looks a thousand times better and it's easy to do. also put together ratchet..what a great great figure. I can not wait for OP!!

Big Bbee is the best so far.

Prowl's head is also too small for the body.

Looking forward to getting the others, and still need to put together Megs, Ratchet, Jazz, and small Bbee.

I didn't notice the head.......that is the first thing I'm gonna see now :-x
