Woooo what a day! Got out of work early after working 12s for the last 8 months...anys got home and my gf told me my birthday present from her came. I told her not to do anything big but as is her usual fashion i open the box and lo and behold i got Masterpiece Starscream, and unlike my 20th aniversary prime I took it out of the box and man is that thing sweet. Then we had to run errands and headed to the target on metro parkway and dequindre. I basically ran to the toy section like a kid even though i havent had any luck finding movie toys, so I turned the corner and there was 1 bonecrusher and 2 swindles so i snagged all three(one for opening and one for mint in box) Also if you guys are looking for real gear the kmart on dequindre and 18 had all of them. Also had two Voice changer helmets, all the FAB toys(Bzzzt!) and the usual previews. Overall great day now I gotta go apply stickers to MP Starscream, I was never any good at it so here goes nothing.

Congrats Buckethead...are they selling the real gear items already?

I bought my first movie toy yesterday. Not a lot of selection, but I picked up Brawl--and unfortunately have to admit, I like him. the head still kind of bugs me, but I like the weaponry he comes with, and the transformation is new and somewhat challenging--.

I left two Swindles BTW. I just did not like the look enough to buy him...yet. maybe when there is a sale or if I can get some kind of gift card at TRU for buying TF toys (like they did for SW and Spider-man recently). I just did not like the monocle eye, and the crappy feet on Swindle. The belly cannon is new and interesting though.

And on Wed, Jill at Comic City was nice enough to give me a tour of the new store...they are moving this weekend, and everyone can see it next week when they go to grab new books (Thursday due to holiday).

And only one more week until we all should be able to get our favorite movie toy...anywhere. I cannot wait to grab a Blackout.

Oh and I also got Optimash Prime yesterday from TRU. A fun, silly toy to have...[/i]

I found most of the movie deluxes at the canton target last night. this was around 9pm so they are probably still there. I think there should be 1 BB, 1 wreckage, 2 jazz, 1 barricade, 1 brawl and 1 scorponok. I don't know if they are all still there or not.

Giggity-giggity...

So I went this morning and was able to pickup Blackout (yes, Blackout), Wreckage, and Jazz...

There was another collector there right before me who got Bonecrusher, and Barricade...as well as Ratchet, Ironhide, and Starscream (I grabbed the Blackout, he didn't seem to mind).

When we were done they had Bumblebee, Brawl, and Jazz left...

I went to the westland target and TRU.. they had nothing. went to canton.. also nothing, but I noticed they did have the barcodes for all the movie toys. so I asked a woman if they had the voyagers.. they had another case!!! I picked up ironhide and blackout.. left ratchet and starscream.. I wanted ot ask about optimus prime.. but didn't want to press my luck. so, thanks for the heads up! and everyone else.. start asking at your local Target!!!! :grin:

thursday i went to the 11/dequinder target and they were all set up for the movie toys. they did have BB bonecrusher and swindle and a few others i already have. so BB and BC i grabbed and left swindle. is swindle going to be the shelfwarmer cause everyone seems to be leaveing him at the stores. they also had the FF2 figures. they looked sweet

I like swindle, hes a drone which means cheaply created for the war effort against the autobots. They are not made for looks but for destruction. To me it reminds me of shockwave face wise and with the giant cannon and his feet remind me of the Macross Battle Pods. Ill stand behind my dual swindle purchase. Cant wait for the jet version.

I went to the Brighton Target this morning and found a 30th Anniversary Boba Fett and a Rebel Honor Guard. My wave 2 set is now complete, hurray!

Howell WalMart had nothing as did the Kmart in Jackson.

Jackson TRU had 4x of every wave 2 Star Wars figures except Boba Fett, they were all gone. They also had comic packs 5-7.

The Target in Jackson also had some wave 2 Star Wars figures including a couple of Rebel Honor Guards but no Boba Fetts. They had the new Fantastic Four movie toys out, I picked up the only Silver Surfer. They also had the 5-7 comic packs.

WalMart in Jackson had nothing.

Both Jackson Target and WalMart had their Transformers displays up but no new movie toys.

Hey! check that out! The new Target on 28th street by I-96 has leader class optimus primes! They're not next to the transformers but just inside an isle on the bottom shelf. Best part is they're mis-marked to 20 dollars! They still ring up 45, but if you're nice they should let you have it for the 20.

If I had known you were lookin for those I would of snagged em when I saw em. But I am not all that into SW figs. Though.. a transforming death star is on my list.

I was pleasantly suprised with him...I didn't think that I would like him at all. I like the monacle-head and the chicken-legs. The articulation could be alittle better, but he looks cool.

I got you a Voyager Ironhide. I'm going to send you a PM in a few minutes so we can work out the details if you still want him.

I snagged 2x Softimus Prime and Slumblebee at the Lansing Kmart. They had all of the FAB's but the bastages would not sell them to me. Go figure, 3 days ago they sold me 2 voice changers at -$20 MSRP.

Anyway. I picked up a case of Voyagers at the West Lansing Target so I now have Rachet, Starscream and Blackout as well.

Okemos Target and Toys R Us had nothing per-usual.

That's a nice find and all, but if you're going to ebay it, you should have made it a quicker auction. By the time the auction ends, it will be a day before that figure is at every toy store in the US.

i went to ikea with my gf this morning after we bought some new shelves i tricked her into going to target over on ford road there. i walked down the toy isle and at first i was bummed i saw just previews, but my gf was like you dont have any of these and on the pegs were bonecrusher, brawl, scorponok, barricade, and jazz. i grabbed my second bonecrusher(it will stay MISB since i found one and opened it last nite) and all the rest of them will be opened. I was pretty excited and as im walking a target manager saw my haul and told me those were all street dated for june 2nd. I was kinda takin aback by it and explained that they were on the pegs and I did not request them from the back. He walked wth me and my gf to the register and waited to see if they scanned, when they did he said "have a good day sir" and walked away. So I have all the deluxes now just waiting for Blackout and screamer now.

I thought about a quicker auction on that Optimus Prime. Get it into collector's hands before June 2nd. You're probably right. But my main purpose for putting it up there was to get it out to a collecter for a bargain. I got a deal on it because it was mis-marked at Target. I'll be happy if someone buys it for a titch more than I paid, tears it out of package, and transforms the bejesus out of it.

Sorry for the absence guys, Pokemon has really eaten up my time, as well as school's just starting to wrap up. I went to Target in Kalamazoo late Saturday.They where pretty whipped out, they had one Swindle. I looked all around and couldn't find anything else, I left it 'cause the only deluxes I want are Jazz, Brawl, Barricade and possibly Wreckage. I also went to TRU, and found nothing but about 10 pegs of preview figures, and what looked to be 3/4 of an isle of empty space, obviously getting ready to put them out on the 2nd. I'm going to be going to Target and Walmart in Battle Creek tomorrow, that is if I get my final project done for English. At this point, I don't think I'll buy anything right now but Ironhide or Blackout. I'll probably will get a deluxe or two if I see them, but if I don't, I'm just going to buy one or both of those two on the 2nd.

well, I made it to northern ireland. I need to change the time on my computer.. I know it's only 6 am for all of you over there. it's 11 am here. so confused :grin:

I don't konw if I'll find any tfs over here. nor will I really want to buy them since they will be double the price they are at home.

As per a suggestion I got on this forum, I relisted the Optimus Prime on a shorter auction. Hey, if anyone of you wins and doesn't mind driving to Grand Rapids, It could be hand-delivered long before Saturday!

This is my first time I've really read this forum--We Michiganders should unite and help eachother complete these collections. More eyes is better than two, and we could be good collectors to eachother selling things we find to one another for cost and what-not. I've read a bit, but not enough to know if you all are already doing this.
