that sucks they were such jerks. The people I talked with at Ann Arbor/Saline road and the canton target were really nice and helpful.
well, I went back to the comic book store after work today. She was working. We talked for a bit. I asked her out..(drumroll).....

ah well, it was worth it, I guess. apparently I have to fly half way around the world to work up the courage to ask a girl out
I just thought I'd post all that, cos I'm sure you are all thoroughly interested in my life

I was pretty shocked but after testing all the equipment, it's all fine. I just don't have an office until it's fixed so I'm back to working at home again.

I agree with you drive by.. iron hide is cool. I was able to get him last saturday.. now he and black out sit alone in my car at detroit metro..

I've seen people treat employees like A-holes, but I was trying to be very nice and courtious. Didn't want to reveal this before I got my Ironhide, now I have, Westside Jackson Meijer by the Airport has a goldmine of movie toys. Real gears, role play, voyager starscream and ironhide, FABs, deluxes and leader class primes.

Truthfully, I think TFP is doing the right thing. People have bad days, and I'm sure retail workers have lots of bad days.
We never know where the person has come from that day...bad argument with spouse, children, sib, etc., or bad news... I try to cut people slack, but if it's a repeated behavior, I might go a bit further.
I think the letter is a good compromise. If they take it seriously they'll have a notice about customer service, etc., and probably not much more. I'm hoping the TFP gets some free $ from it...for his trouble, but who knows?

doing a lot of customer service over the last few years.. I know how hard it can be to treat every customer nicely.. but I don't think that's an excuse. you grin, you fake it, you bear it. then when you leave and go to a store you don't work in.. you can let it all out and be a jackass
well, I need to stop.. I bought some more doctor who toys today. I shouldn't spend my money on them, but this was a 3 pack taht had the doctor, a cyberman and a Dalek. I could'nt resist the Dalek. so now I have two cybermen. they'll look good on my shelves of misfit toys in my toyroom. besides.. probably would've spent the same amount or more if I'd gotten that date I wanted

I have several years of customer sevice under my belt as well...I certainly understand when someone is having a bad day. But saying things like "You collectors need to get a life." is inexcusable. Things like that used to be a terminable offense...right on the spot.
