A long time ago, I heard that TRU makes 75% of their profits in Dec alone.

It would be nice to meet some like minded people. Maybe help get items for collectors that are having a hard time finding pieces at their local stores? Friends to travel to conventions with? That kind of thing.

I don't know if there's already a group, but I'd be down for a meet-up with some other local tf fans. The only hard part might be finding good central location since I imagine most of us are spread around the state.

I tried a couple of the new RID toys. Warrior/ deluxe Steelhaw and Strongarm. They feel like argue step backwards from AOE, Prime, and Generations figs. I know not really meant as much for collectors, but is wanted to give it a whirl. Probably will not buy many more unless sales or a cool character.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays. I'm going to look around a little today, found some of the new 2015 Lwgo sets I was interested inalready: movie double decker couch, movie batman and super angry unikity, SW shadow troopers, and SW imperial transport (who knew Rebels could Mak this throw away toy from the 80s junto a such a hit?)
I've been silent for awhile. Not much collecting going on, not like I used to. Looking to fire sale a lot of stuff. Room is huge issue as is time.
Happy New Year all!

Gigator39, maybe we should try to figure something out? I'm not sure where you are located, but I'm in the Southwest Michigan area.

Not sure if anyone cares, but if you've been holding off for the best price, that's happening now. Some of the smaller shampoo-bottle-guys started showing up there just before Christmas, which did my heart good to see those cheap Grandparent/Aunt/Uncle impulse buys finally show up where they belong. These, on the other hand...well, nothing will ever top the 2013 Summer of Love $5.00 PRID Vehicons.
There's not much new at TJ Marshaxx since the Kreo stuff got picked over. The Ford/Haggerty Marshalls seems to have gotten yet another case of BH Commanders in; Maybe that's good news if you haven't done all the Insecticon army-building you want, but to me they actually seem...stubborn now. I still like them, but find myself getting more excited about their Monster High and Winx Club selection than new TF arrivals, which is wrong, considering how awesome they've been up through the simplified Voyagers last summer.

If anybody's looking, the Taylor Meijer has the last waves of Generations before combiner wars. I saw a few Scoops, Minicon Teams, Windblade, Skywarp and Armada Scream. For Voyagers, they had Sky-byte. Roadbuster and a Soundwave they must've dug out of the back somewhere. :p

Good find. That happened to me with Whirl.
Side note: finally got a snow day tomorrow! Stay safe and warm everyone.

Happened to me with Roadbuster. I ordered one online just before Christmas, having never seen one in stores, then suddenly, Roadbusters EVERYWHERE. Even saw a whole bunch (at least 6) on clearance at a Meijers (forget which one) a week or two back. But, I got it almost that cheap online anyway, with free shipping (and no tax!) so it worked out okay.
Now if only Combiner Wars would actually show up here. Did see 1 each Windcharger and Thundercracker at TRU tonight (added to sightings) but that was it, and I've been looking all over. Early part of the year is an awful time to release stuff, never seems to show up here.

I agree. There is certainly only a slow trickle of new things coming in. At least transformers, and Star Wars wise, it's very slow. Lego is really the only thing I look at that has gotten much new out. Did spot some new avengers age of ultron stuff at Target on Sunday. Nothing worth buying though.

I'm still looking for a Skydive and Dead End. Otherwise, I've been lucky enough to find the rest of Combiner Wars wave 1.

And the Meijer's just north of there at Middlebelt and Scraft had a Death's Head, if anyone's interested. I've already got 2, but IDR ever seeing any of his casemates, implying the Marvel collectors are ignoring him, and he'd be pegwarming if not for the likes of us.
Oh, and the Ford Rd. TJMaxx just reopened a few miles east in that strip by the Beech Daily Target, but all I recall seeing TF-wise was CBots Bee and Strafe; no sign of Brainstorm and the fems.

Nice to see combiner wars starting to saturate around here. Ford Rd Target in Canton had the Steeljaw one rep, which I believe is fairly new.
