I reading about that over on hisstank.com and it made me wonder. I can't see how they could have been that badly damaged during the shipping or the unloading process. Only the part of the card above the bubble was damaged and some of the creases really look like someone just went to town on them.
I have never ran into that sort of thing around here before so I'm hoping it was just some spoiled brat that destroyed them all in a fit of rage because his mom wouldn't let him get them.

4-wheeling is not fun when you're skididng around in the snow and you can't even see the car right next to you...that was seriously scary... Now it's freakishly sunny and the roads are clearing up. Guess I wasn't meant to go to my earlier class today, or something.
I'm goin' back to the Auto Show this Saturday again XD I can't get enough of that place! I want to take the Jeep Renegade concept home with me...I hope he gets good mileage

I've experienced it first-hand a couple of times, not just with Joes, but with MLs and Movie TFs. In one instance, I sort of understood why, as I walked to the TF section, a "collector"(quotes meaning he was most likely a Hot Wheels scalper who crossed over to Joes...way, way too old to even appreciate them) was being really aggressive toward an employee about carded Joes. The employee blew the guy off, and they guy left flustered.
So, as soon as they knew that he was out of the building, they brought a case of wave one Joes out. They guy dropped the case down, with me just down the aisle, cut the box open sloppily, and proceeded to "stock"...i.e., tearing the corners off, bending the cards, and crushing the bubbles. I was in pain just seeing it out of the corner of my eye.
The other time was much like yours, I walked in on a huge stock of carded Joes that had looked like they made someone very, very mad. Poor guys. They died fighting the good fight...
The weather sucked this morning. Wet snow is good for two things:
water in an emergency, and naked, sexy snowball fights.

Yeah, I was honestly shocked when I first heard about it.
In toy news, Target has Tech Deck Dudes on sale for $1.99. I picked up a Mort (the one that looks like Megatron).
BBTS has the e-hobby New Year Tapestry up for preorder for $64.99. I'm seriously tempted by this.

I've read that his Joker performance was absolutely brilliant; according to Michael Caine, "Alfred", it was one of the scariest performances he's ever seen (edited, "one of"). Such a shame...

On another note, I was able to snag me a hooded Cobra Commander, Firefly and a Cobra rank and file at the Edgewood Target not too long ago. They seem to have a decent selection of TF's there too. For once...
Anyways. Take care and have fun.

Brilliant...just, brilliant. An info/photo source on every hot celebrity that ever existed. I shutter to think what the male equivalent of this would be. It would probably start with a d.

I did just get a text that a friend (the one who's getting Pepsi Prime for his birthday this coming weekend) found some Alternators out in Lapeer, though he didn't say which ones. Hmm. (Other than that they were ones I had, which isn't useful since I have about a half-dozen.)
I'm so happy to have met everyone on Sunday! I wish I'd had more to spend, as everyone had quite a few more robots that I wanted to bring home with me (next time?). (And I didn't even think about it til the next day, but there really weren't a lot of girls there, were there?)
Well, back to the epically amusing task of disturbing friends with bizarre Japanese Transformers fanart...

Likes jets, red cars, and big black trucks...

Also saw a couple of the DCU Fighting Figures packs at the Livonia TRU. I thought those were supposed to be articulated and have some sort of game involved. Well, they aren't and they don't which means they either changed their plans for these or I read something a long time ago that I misunderstood.

work has been very annoying this morning. there was one really mean lady on the phone.
tfpredaking and I hit Belleville walmart, meijer, Canton target and walmart last night. not much new anywhere. still a few all spark wave stuff. no new Joes or SW stuff. I supposed that's good. I don't need to spend the money.

I thought it looked fantastic, the ears are a bit much but otherwise it's one fine looking Sunstreaker.

Sadly because I went to the show by myself today, I only have one pic of myself with the new Corvette, but I have to wait a day or two for Chevy to post it online.
Still a fantastic time I had and Pam fantastic hosting and awesome cars. Too bad Porsce wasn't there but still it was great seeing The Camaro Bumblebee. The Camero is a great car but we should have had the rest of the bot's cars there i am surpised they didn't at least havea display for them in the Chevy section. Or at least with Bee's car have him timed so that his radio plays songs doors open and close, his lights blink at certain times making the illustion that they do exisit. But Still my first time at the autoshow and in detroit and on the people mover.
Sky,
PS, sorry my belly button got exposed!
