"But the robuts....must kill Fry..."

Guess the hypno-toad is telling me the wrong thing.

Yeah, it was fun, and I enjoyed sharing and chatting with everyone. Quite reasonable prices all around.

Wow, the guy next to me had prices that just beat the crap out of everyone. He was selling a Joe /Cobra 5 packs for $20 each, many Star Wars coin figs for less than MSRP. He has some hookup in California that supposedly they bid on these huge amounts of them, and then he sells them off at cons. He was making it a huge deal that he was under MSRP on so many things, but of course, variants and rarities he did go up a bit on...

He saw my Gold Destro price and told me that he has a source that is getting him a bunch of both kinds for $30 each... Told me mine was way over-priced because he was seeing them online for less than BIN $60 for the pair, which I guess were auctions I was missing because I never saw any, which is possible, they would be most desired.

He is quite generous with his prices, but then he tries to push his morality off on others, which is what started the shouting match that was uncomfortable for anyone in the area at the time. :(

Then he followed the guy out to fight... Oh boy. Came back in saying the guy kept walking. It was a little frustrating, I like what he was trying to do in general, if I were buying stuff, I would have loved his booth, and many did, but he was always making sure to over inflate himself to others...not needed.

What a day. That and being teased by GOBOTS of all things...

It really wasn't a fight, just a shouting match and some posturing. It was unfortunate, because we had a nice crowd there.

The guy that TT24 is talking about is a bit of a loudmouth, and has always been. I do question his credibility...I hardly see anyone having that much access to new and hot stuff able both access and resell for such low prices. Something is fishy there.

Or, I could be wrong and the guy is totally legit. But I have a hard time seeing how someone who is honestly getting them at dirt-cheap prices(in California, nonetheless, wouldn't shipping be a major factor here?), and taking them to a show to undercut everyone by 30%. It isn't so much that he is doing it, but that he openly and verbally antagonizes his competitors. I've heard the guy arguing loudly with people before. So, it is unfortunate.

So no posts from tfpredaking or rodimusconvoy yet? I thought that they would like my fart joke...heheheh tacos rule.

So, I did manage a nice haul at the con, plus some new movie figures thanks to Todd and Chad.

I got:

SDCC Rodimus x2(One courtesy of jsmith, the other courtesy of TT24) Thanks!
SDCC Menasor(In trade with jsmith, Thanks and enjoy the 20th Ann. Prime!)

Legendary Comic Book Heroes: Witchblade, Ripclaw, Madman, Savage Dragon(variant), and Superpatriot(variant), the last two courtesy of TT24. Again, thanks. Pitt is so worth it.

Marvel Legends Hulk-Buster Iron Man from a dealer.

And courtesy of Kevin from Mirage's Boxes, I got a loose/complete G1 Scourge! Thanks man!

Movie figures from tfpredaking: Target Exclusives G1 jazz and Starscream x2 each. Thanks!

Movie figs from RC13: Deluxes Longarm and Payload, Real Gears Power-Up and Meantime. Thanks!

Figs from noob: DC Superhores Cyborg Superman!(Excellence!!), Marvel Showdown Yellow Daredevil, Phasing Invisible Woman. Thanks!

You guys rule. Can't wait for next month.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

It was cool meeting all you guys I hadn't met, and nice seeing those that I do know. Yeah, the tacos were good. I would have posted sooner, but I was too busy opening up all of my new stuff  I bought a Classics Jetfire from Loudmouth for $10. Yeah, I can't figure out how he sells his stuff for that cheap. well, I should get to work :-(

Yeah, well RC13 got it so bad that we are just now regaining consiousness :P

It was a lot fun to meet all of you and to see some of you again (TT and Laura, I'm looking at you :D ). I see too much of Boon, Todd, and Andrew :P Next month should be fun and I'm really looking forward to it.

Big thanks go out to inazuma1977 for hooking me up with a Nightbeat and Wiretap!! And TT as well for hooking me up with a SDCC Silver Destro! Thanks Guys

Yeah, I'll be curious to talk to Dennis from wonderworld about it (the guy he was "fighting" with). Especially considering I don't think Dennis had a table there, and he was just buying?? Does anyone know for sure? I'll probably talk to him Wed and see if I can get the "poop, the whole poop, and nothing but the poop"... oh wait, the guys that went to On The Border all ready got that, guess I should stick with the scoop :P

PQP, realize that you and only you can prevent toilet humor :P

Well, my wife just likes to yank my chain about it more that anything. I tease her about a lot of things too, so it's nice that she has a lot of ammo to fire back... lots and lots of ammo actually    (this is me shell-shocked)

She surprised me last night by saying she wouldn't mind helping me man the table sometime!! The moment of clarity for me though was when she said she wanted to see me actually sell a toy :P But she may be there next time :D

make a fart joke in front of tfpredaking? be glad that the internets does not yet have smell-o-vision :D

methinks that dennis and that guy have some sort of history, no way something like that would have happened with some guy just browsing around the con. tfpred, make it so, gets the scoop.

and no fisticuffs? just the sodomy? 8) i mean accusations.

Hasn't been an issue with me...yet. Everyone here has been awesome!!!

Well, it's not like you were inviting any of us to your home...that I could see a bit of hesitation with, even though, once you meet us, we are pretty nice, down to Earth folks.

Plus, we're not in our teens. Those are the folks who really need to worry, those that meet teens or who are teens who agree to meet with others. It's a scary world out there.

You have to start out making relationships somewhere. Just start out with a mutual meet in a store or something, and then you can decide if someone is the kind of person you'd like to associate with more. It also helps that you make sure it is mostly people of your own age range that you are meeting with.

Like that PorQPine...scary fellow there.

It's was very cool seeing / meeting everyone yesterday. Looking forward to the next show.

It's interesting that his stories about connections were in California, when last time we bought stuff acouple shows ago, it was from Texas. "Supplier Discount" more like Five-Fingered Discount. We was selling us $20 Soundwave reissues, $10 Classic voyagers, etc.

Texas, California... He did say his friend owned a puddle jumper and delivered the stuff to him. He also gave me his phone number, because he has a friend in Howell at the Kay Bee outlet, who can get him stuff too.

The fight was just a bunch of posturing, but for some reason neither could let it go. Dumb stuff...
