Yeah we saw that lego last night....I really like it...wish lego were not so expensive.

I saw 3 70s bbs today at target.

Picked up GI Joe 8in Lockdown and Toxic Zartan at the Westland TRU today(last ones). The had Combat Squad Wave 2 there, one of each, left. They didn't have much else of note other than 2 SWTF Death Stars.

Also grabbed 8in Lt Boulder at the Livonia WM, they had one of him left and two each of the other Wave 2 CS. I also saw a WM Exclusive Battle Damaged RR Prime and Megatron set. I almost bought it, but the packaging was dented so I put it back. It did look cool, though.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

well, I took a bus to Belfast yesterday and met up with a co-worker. While we were walking around, I came across Forbidden Planet International. It's a comic book/toyshop. They have a website that I'd been to before. They had a fairly good selection of movie voyagers, including rescue ratchet and Thundercracker. they were £19.99 each. that equates to about $43. That's a lot to pay for a voyager. they also had the Prime and Megatron from the classics two pack(ultimate battle) in single carded classics packaging. I was tempted to pick up Prime, but he was £11.99. WAY to much for that figure. Anyways, nothing else to report. I wasn't able to get to TRU belfast. Its about 10 miles outside the city and I really didn't know where it was. so getting a taxi would have been difficult and expensive.

The stores in Lansing told me they wouldn't be in until the Monday night truck comes in. Which is fine with me, I just didn't want them to release them early and then sell out before I can get them.

I was just curious if anyone in Michigan has seen them out early like other people on the forums are reporting.

West Lansing Wal-Mart still has 2x Rescue Ratchet and 2x Thundercracker along with a Dropkick.

West Lansing Target had a couple of Classic Camaro Bumblebee, Barricade, Dropkick, Longarm and such. No Concept Camaro Bumblebee except the one included in the exclusive 2 pack.

Hmm...Looks like I missed a party. Hooray for gradumatating!!!

Okay, after reviewing all of the sale papers in the news paper yesterday, I'm still having a bit of trouble deciding where I'm buying the TF DVD tomorrow. I think it's a toss-up between Target and Best Buy, although that Circuit City offer looks pretty good too. Here are the options:

-Target: $24.99 for the 2-disc set with the transforming case and comic. $15.99 for the 1-disc + $15.99 for the Bumblebee set = $5 transforming gift card.

-Best Buy: $29.99 for the 2-disc set with the exclusive Robot Heroes ($22.99 without) plus a free lithograph and $5 off with a TF toy purchase.

-Circuit City: $22.99 for the 2-disc set with a "digital download card" with access to 11 minutes of exclusive footage. Plus, a free hat for the first 20 customers.

-K-Mart/Sears: No price listed in their ad but they do have a free keychain light and $10 off any TF toy $19.99 and up with DVD purchase.

-WalMart: No sale papers from WalMart. I'll probably check out their set but I doubt I'll buy it from them.

I'm planning to go to BEST BUY and just get Ratchet and Megs, and then to Target for the Exclusive Transforming Box edition.

Hmm...Maybe I'll post it in the movie forum. EDIT: Looks like I was beaten to it.

Well, I guess I get a catalog from HasbroToyShop.com now. I just got one in the mail today.

Well, the Target exclusive transforming DVD case is about as dorky as the gift card was, but it's still pretty cool :P

Todd, I picked one up for you.

Is the Best Buy Ratchet really "piss" yellow, or have I just been seeing bad pictures of him? I wasn't sure if he was actually re-colored or not :-?

****. Well, my gut instinct was true, I went to the BB in Allen Park and, guess what...NO EXCLUSIVES. For some reason they got a total of four, and I had to order mine. They allegedly sold out right off the bat...it will be interesting to see how many there are on ebay by the time I get home...

Retailers are such idiots.

Anyway, I ran into Ed there(ambushbug), and ended up giving him a ride home.

So don't bother checking the Dearborn area at all today.

If any of you come across extras, and they'll sell them to you, let me know please. I'll pay you ASAP for them.

****.

Exlusives are really starting to piss me off anymore...

Best Buy in Okemos had one of each too. I was just getting ready to rant about it but I see you beat me to it.

I got both the Megatron and the Ratchet, I was there right at 10:00. I asked several employees and they all told me that they only got one case (1 of each per case).

I was standing in line with a bunch of people giving me dirty looks :(

I did also pick up the DVD set from Best Buy with the Cliffjumper and Battle Damaged Optimus Prime Robot Heroes and I grabbed the Transforming DVD from Target and of course the set from Wal-Mart this morning.

I now own almost as many copies of the fracking 2007 movie as I do of the 1986 movie.

I just don't get how the people who manage these places can be such idiots. They knew how great the hype was for this film, and, as predicted, they dropped the ball.

Oh, I know, it's nobody's fault, it never is. Thanks alot Best Buy.

This is really bad since there are reports of some stores in other states getting "tons" of them...I mean we all saw the picture earlier this weeks....WTF why did the store in Rochester Hills only get one of each...is this a case of Employees getting to it first?
