So, the Botcon "Purplemas Prime" looks pretty good, can't wait to the see the vehicle mode. Too bad the toys aren't all classics this year (based on the Botcon site picture) but I can't wait to see the rest!

April 24th = the end of my semester and the start of Botcon... it can't arrive fast enough!

Also, Iron Man opens May 2nd! How freaking sweet is that entire week gonna be :grin:

Man, when are they gonna fix the stupid emoticons? half the ones I pick come up different in my posts :BOOM:

I like the prime the paint aps on the windshield and also his leg vents are really nice.

finally found evac this weekend at the local target. the also had the new scouts and the new real gears. havent opened evac yet but when i find time he will be free.

also has anyone else found siebs to be a problem lately? every time i try to post i have to log back in. even after loging in before. sometimes i will log in to post, hit post reply, write my post then i have to log in again. my head wants to explode half the time.

I have all kinds of issues. I have pretty much given up doing anything with these forums other than posting in this thread and even that's a chore.

I ended up starting my own phpbb forum for some friends and I use that most of the time now.

No offense to anyone on the staff (points to TT) here but this forum has sucked since the upgrade.

I couldn't agree more. It takes so many extra steps just to post something, no pics, and I still can't post from certain computers.

I wish it would just go back to the way it was :-(

Faxed my BC registration today. I've decided not to go as a dealer, the investment is alittle too much for me right now, and I think that it will be too stressful. I'd rather come back to work feeling like I've had a vacation.

Ah well, maybe next year.

Picked up wave 3 comic packs at Farmington Hills Target minus Crimson Twins. Livonia Hagerty Target has nothing new, but did have a full set of Wave 4 Joes. Linvonia TRU is bare as per usual.

I have never known Livonia TRU to be reliable.

*waves* I'm still alive. Met another local collector (kinda), so I might have a full car for Xtravacon. Y'all are going to be selling me jets, yes?

Incinerator arrived at the Port Huron Kmart, of all places. I apparently have one, but since a coworker (and collector) picked it up for me and has been forgetting to bring it to me, I haven't actually seen my Incinerator yet. :-?

The TRU has reset and while bare, there's a happy little shelf label for Ultras, which is what those exclusive jets are (right?)... As I said to my friend, it's a small miracle I didn't just tie myself to the shelf and wait.

Still no new Target scouts up here. And I suppose that's about it in this part of the world.

(I don't have any trouble with the board - I'm a Firefox user...)

Crap!

I have to decide between BotCon or Savannah, GA for St Patrick's day. I want to do both but I can only afford one. For those of you that are unaware, St. Patrick's day is to Savannah what Mardi Gras is to New Orleans. I'm actually leaning heavily toward Savannah. I could really go for a drunkenly blurry weekend.

That rocks...I am still waiting for my wifes old company to send her W-2s to the right address.....so I can finish my retrun...looks like the Feds owe me $5500 (My company was not taxing my check right and was taking more then $200 bucks from each check)

I dont konw about the State taxes yet...since I do them online and i cant move forward till I file my fed return.

So Sparty will we be seeing you at Botcon? I think I remember you saying you have a child on the way now (congrats), so no money for it, which is too bad.

Laura and I just did our taxes today, so we'll have a dd of our refund in a couple weeks.

What are you guys thinking of the Botcon stuff so far. Prime is okay, I was hoping for all black, and Goldbug is okay, but I was hoping for a more gold color, and a darker head. So far I am not super excited about it.

I do agree with your thoughts on more gold, but for some reason, I really like it! I must admit it will be pretty near impossible to top last years exclusives... they may never do it :shock:

I hate posting form work, I have to type fast and not edit. It never fails that a customer walks in :evil:

I'm not particularly impressed by the concept of the Botcon set, what I've seen so far is just...kind of middle-of-the-road. The "mirrorverse" idea is pretty tired. I must admit that I do kind of like Evil Prime, and Goldbug does have his charm.

I'm sure that I'll like the box set when I get it, but it certainly doesn't have the "would-give-a-kidney-for" thing going for it, like last year's did.

And, dang sparty, that's one heck of a refund!!!

Finally got my Incinerator! Also picked up the new Legends sets - Ice Megatron/Damaged Jazz and Damaged Bumblebee/Scorponok. Scorponok looks good... They were at the Ft. Gratiot Walmart. Aisle was trashed and my friend and I looked at one another 'we're gonna fix the aisle, aren't we?' and proceeded to do so.

TRU had the new screen battles, but still an empty spot for the jets. If I've figured out how to read their item numbers correctly and the spaced marked 'Transformers Ultra' are indeed for the jets, the item number is 849591. According to the red ink on the back of my hand...

Good chance of the Target scouts finally arriving up here tomorrow. And if not, still have a nice breakfast date arranged.
