I'm surrounded by whipper-snappers.

Finally found McQuarrie Han Solo today at the Dearborn Target! That about does it for me and SW. They had a ton of SW there actually, even McQ. Vader and Boba Fett, and new comic packs. I also grabbed two more Crimson Guard there, they had the wave 2 and 3 Joe comic packs out, minus Tomax/Xamot, and Torch/Ripper, all the others were there.

They also had 2 Concept BBs, a full set of DCU, and Wave 3 MLs, everyone except Danger and Marvel Girl.

Is that the two disc version? How much was it? I can't find the two disc at target or meijer... I'm going to stop by best buy after work today.

Yeah, it was the two-disc. It was $19.99 and they didn't have any of the two-disc without the GL figurine. As for the movie, it was a pretty good adaptation. It probably would have been much better if it had been longer. At 75 minutes they pretty much passed over all the Losers stuff and only kinda hinted at the John Henry stuff. All of the Darwyn Cooke designs translated very well except for Batman. He just didn't look quite right to me. David Boreanaz and Neil Patrick Harris were great as Green Lantern and Flash. Most of the other voices were good, but not great. The extras are good. The preview for Gotham Knight got me interested in the story but I'm still iffy about the anime designs. The "History of the Justice League" documentary thing was great and it was interesting to see Stan Lee talk about the beginnings of the JLA from hid perspective at Marvel. I haven't checked out the commentaries or the second disc yet.

My Sky Lynx arrived today and I got my Torpedo 25th Joe Figures!! I am excited. I can't wait to put the sealed Japanese box next to my Boxed American one, I really prefer the Japanese boxes

I see that BBTS has posted that the new Binaltechs are Die-cast. I preordered both on that news. I found two crimson guard comic packs :grin:

at AA TRU. they had the dreadnoks, destro, and ace/wild weasel packs too. the wild weasel pack went to tfpredaking. no new carded figures though.

well, I actually found new stuff at Canton Walmart. I found the black Royal Guard from the Force Unleashed. They also had Juno Eclipse and Maris brood. I left them along with a gold coin Dark Trooper. They were bringing out a palette that had one case of single carded Joes on it. I pulled a Crimson Guard!!!! Airborne Trooper and Armored Cobra Commander!!!!!!!! I left Rock N Roll, Torpedo and the repaint of snake eyes. All in all, a great night at canton walmart :grin:

I forgot to mention that the GI Joes I picked up were $5.44 instead of $4.88. I guess they had to up the prices on those eventually :-(

Woohoo! Found Rock'n'Roll today at the Taylor WM, no torpedo or C. Commander. They have a ton of Serpentor, Beachhead, Buzzer, and carded Snake Eyes left. No Comic packs.

They also stocked a TON of TFs, plenty of Deluxe 70's BB, regular Jazz, Brawl, Arcee. Plenty of Voyagers, regular Starscream, Ratchet, Megatron, Rescue Ratchet, Evac, OR Ironhide, FS Prime, Incinerator. All the new FABs were there, including rally Rocket BB, Desert Brawl, Night Attack Megatron.

Also plenty of Wave 3 MLs, including Danger, not including Marvel Girl.

Happy Hunting, be careful, the roads will be bad until late this afternoon.

Found some Halo 3 figs and SW Galactic Heroes Mellinium Falcon at Wal-mart here. Not much else tho.

The Japanese box on Sky Lynx is BEAUTIFUL!! I can't wait for the Omega Supreme. I just hope they start doing some that I don't already have boxed American Versions of soon. Bring on Scorponok and Trypticon... and don't forget Art Fire, Victory Leo and Star Saber :grin:

well the bad news is the store i worked at for 7 years, masquerade games, closed for good this weekend. i am sad.

but the good news i guess is that i got 23 packs of the transformers 3d battle card game for about a buck a piece. now i just have to figure out what to do with them. open and play with or use as trade.

NO! *lots of interesting cussing* I only got down there a couple times a year, but I always spent a small fortune. Drat! We had fuzzy plans for the local anime club to make a trip down once it got a little less snowy...

I'm back from Chicago. I didn't actually have a lot of free time (technically I was only there two days, had two interviews and still needed to find time for pizza, some general sightseeing, etc.) or I would have popped over to the IL thread. Maybe if I end up there again...

Stopped off at Walmart to get a sandwich on the way home from some old school PSO and saw the exclusive deluxes. I happily started grabbing them while calling my friend and lo and behold, they'd been there since Friday and he already had a set waiting for me!

Oh well... I tried. They had the Robot Heroes exclusive set too, but I passed for the time being.
