I won't have a chance to stop today, but the new Wal-Mart on Canton Center Drive and Michigan Ave in Canton opened today. It's possible they might actually have new stuff. Even though they just opened, I'm still going to go in there and expect to find 12 Tuner Mudflaps... but you never know.

i think Generations Blurr might be my new favorite. i just discovered tonight you can attach his pistols to the rifle to make a tripod for it. so awesome!

lol my "pile of loot" consisted of 1 Hothead set (about the size of a deck of cards) and it took em almost a week to get it to me. heck! if i had the time, I coulda drove over, picked it up, and drove home in less than a day.

oh well..

If anyone is still lookin for the new scouts, head over to a Meijer. I picked up Breacher and Insecticon at the Lapeer Meijer and later saw them at the Burton Meijer.

Breacher is pretty cool, Insecticon- not so much.

Negative about the Hothead set. Need to have a very, very small screw driver to unscrew the bottom neck screws. I have thusly, destroyed Hardhead's original head, making the headmaster a must now...yes, I took picks.

Sterling Heights Walmart has all the new generations figures, well had them all. I snagged Blurr and Dirge. Anyone have a Universe classic Sideswipe available? it's the only one I'm missing.

Food for thought: Check Rite Aids for 2008-09 Universe figures. Every time I go to one, I usually see 2 to 4 of them. Prices are the scare though! 17.99 per.

I accept your challenge! I have some screw drivers that make the ones for glasses look like baseball bats

I'll try them tomorrow and let you know how they work. Hopefully they are small enough, you have me scared.

I had an interesting sighting at Livonia TRU. It was freshly opened case of a 3-pack of Cybertron Scout repaints in 25th Anniversary Universe packaging. It was titled "Warriors of Three Worlds" and contained Scattorshot, Repugnus, and Ransack GTS. Obviously a set I completely ignored when it came out since I don't remember it at all. Sort of wondering where they managed to lose a whole case for an entire year.

I hit the Detroit Fanfare today. It was pretty much just Motor City in a smaller room with carpet. They had a lot more panels running than Motor City but nothing really interesting except for Brian O'Halloran talking for an hour-and-a-half. If I hadn't gotten in for free, I might have been a bit miffed.

On a brighter note, I stopped at the Dearborn TRU on the way out there and found Blurr and Red Alert. They only had one of each but I did leave a Dirge there if anybody need it.

Found HFTD Wave 3 at Toys R Us Flint today. Only picked up Terradive though. Really wish I would have grabbed Tomahawk too.

Since I've been having an absolutely miserable time trying to find Gen Soundwave and Red Alert in my local areas (Novi, Wixom, Brighton, White Lake, Waterford, etc) I decided to try things out in the Royal Oak area today. Did not find either, but I did manage to snag a Terradive and a Tomahawk at Target on 14 mi and John R, so the trip wasn't a total bust. I got the last ones there, but the Target on 12 mi and Dequindre has a buttload of those same figures too.

Also, since I was able to purchase one of those Animated Jetblade Prime armor sets at YaHobby before it sold out, I bought another Animated Voyager Prime, which I found on clearance at TRU in Waterford. I will be able to display Prime in both modes at the same time now. They have one left at 14.95 if anyone here has the same idea.

I think this set is awesome!! I switched the heads out in under a minute no problem. You do need a very small screw driver, the ones for glasses will not work! Don't be fooled by the screw, just use a very small flat head screw driver, NOT a phillips head and you won't have a problem.

Sorry to hear about your luck TT! I was turned onto my screw driver set by my brother who does tons of custom work with extremely small toys and models. They have saved me many times

I was going to post about how insanely awful the quality of Red Alert is and complain that the plastic feels almost as cheap as a knock off. Instead, I bring you a PSA of sorts.

adding more bad news, my mom and i had to rush my sister to the hospital yesterday. she hasnt been feeling well lately and has had several bad nosebleeds along with feeling cold sleeping all day and not eating. she fell and passed out yesterday. she is still at the hospital with my mom and in the cardiac section.

The Aldi's in Canton had wave 3 of Hunt for Decepticon Deluxes. They still had 3 more Terradives and Tomahawks along with about 4 or 5 Electrostatic Jolts. 8.99 each. Thanks for the tip, JTKranix!! Canton Target on ford road had 1 Terradive, 2 Tomahawks and 3 electrostatic jolts.
