Just got home from my first ever MCCC. I had a great time and will definitely be attending every year from now on. I actually found quite a few transformers tucked away here and there. Picked up a TFA Legends Prime and a WST Prime (no trailer)cheap. Everyone I talked to was more than willing to negotiate and give me room to haggle a bit. Also thought the "media guests" were pretty laid back also. Actually stood outside with Deean Stockwell and had a smoke. Just talked casually with him. Being a Quantum Leap fan, myself, I thought he was a pretty cool guy. All in all, I had a great day.

On my way back from Cleveland, I stopped at the Tanger Outlets between Howell and Fowlerville and they still had a TRU Express up and running. They had a bunch of ROTF HA's there for $20 each including several Barricades. It's the first time I ran into Barricade, so I'm glad I was able to pick him up so cheap.

Motor City was great! I actually left without buying anything Transformers related. I was going to pick up some TFs from Toynk (who are still amazing, by the way) until I found something that plugged a gaping hole in another collection and capped my budget for the day.

I had a blast too.....bought a boat load of crap to fill out some of my late comer legends gaps...thought the prices were a bit steep though. I would have met up but I was all business on friday and then had my kid today...and that is work with all those people everywhere...my boy was batman....he had his utility belt and was sockless with crocs!! friggin crocs...he refused to put on shoes.. he's a cutie though.

Cheryl and I had a great time at the Con today too. I got a couple of Firefly T-shirts and a loose complete Cybertron Dark Scorponok. Here's a link to our pictures from the day. Brent Spiner was hilarious and awesome.

Good time yesterday, nice seeing Tony, Todd, Glenn, and meeting Cheryl(rawk on, dahlin'), and running into Pam at dinner. So long since I've seen everyone.

TFs were scarce this year, a couple of booths sported decent selections, but I had everything they had. All I picked up was MP Black Convoy from Toynk at a nice price, a couple of Gen Scourges(one from Ryan, one from Tony), and a couple of T-shirts(Optimus and Street Fighter II), that's about it.

Wish I could have set a booth up.

Oh well, it was worth it to see some familiar faces, and enjoy the nubile geek babes strolling about.

mccc was cool. great picks rc13. though i didnt see the girl dressed as emma frost.

i did pick up some BW figures and MU figures i needed. it did seem to go by quick though. it was good to see everyone too.

Just picked up a Shockwave at Gratiot/ Masonic TRU. They had 3 when I got there. There is one left if anyone is interested. Also had about 3 Leader Class Sentinel Primes left and a bunch of Leader Bumblebees. Alot of deluxes, and cyberverse commanders, bumblebee playsets, bashbots, CV legions. Worth checking out.

The center display at 13/ Little Mack Meijer seems to have disappeared but I think I saw some Cyberverse Primes (not preview) hanging on the hooks so I'm pretty sure the display might have just sold out. Or they put it somewhere else and I missed it.

Let's see if tomorrow brings something new and wonderful (being the actual release date and all) lol

As long as I can find Shockwave and Sentinel Prime I should be a happy man. Did see some Voyager Optimus Primes at the Target in Canton on Michigan Ave.

My Walmart has a display set up but as of last night, it was still empty. I think I'm going to check back after work today.

I have seen nothing good in our area lately. DOTM toys are slowly trickling in even after the release date yesterday.

And since I am after the same ones as about every other half-serious collector out there, it will take a pretty good saturation, or dumb luck for me to find the few I actually want.

I swear there was still one left when I left the store so it wasn't me. I'm thinking of hitting up Walmart again. I'll let you know if I see one there.

Westland Meijer- Nabbed Sentinel Prime for myself, and I hate him.
Canton Walmart- Bam! Pow!! Grabbed Wheeljack, Thundercracker and Warpath sitting around in a box near the DotM figures. My little bro was so happy.

Wow. Generations were out at walmart in canton!!! That's huge.
I had a hard time with sentinel. Couldn't get him into a solid vehicle mode transformation. His feet were a problem too....I finally figured them out and got him on a solid footing. robot wise he looks nice and if i could get that flap/firehose/ladder thing to snap down tight, on the top back of his vehicle, I'd be happy with that mode too.

I was able to get Sentinel into vehicle mode without instructions (I'm oh so cool), but his panels are really fiddly, and mine don't like to hold together.
Mine also has weak ankle joints so he likes to fall all over when I try to stand him.
I'm afraid to set him up on my shelf. I need to make room anyway.
He looks great in both modes and I love his weapons, but the instability and fiddlyness put me off a bit.

I don't have him in front of me, but I had the same problem. you have to almost lock his ankles(push his shins forward so the balance of his feet are more on the front part rather than the back part of his feet) forward, and then you can bend the knees back a little bit to give him a decent standing look. At first glance, his feet seem like they'd be really stable, but they're uneven...but, I think I sort of pushed his shins forward to put all the force against his toes (so to speak) and then was able to get him to what seemed like a really stable stance.

i got all i think im going to get from wave 1 and 2.. voyager meatron x2, voy shockwave x2 voy skyhammer x2, topspin x3 one for a friend, roadbuster x2, crank case x4, leader sentinal x2. all from wetland meijer and westland tru, and amazon.
