Optimus reaches out to the Autobots after the first battle was finished. Two of the Autobots he reaches are Wildsky and Crusader. With the two of them flying over in jet form patrolling above the Grand Canyon heading due Northwest, Optimus prompts them to head out from Earth to Cybertron to help fend off the Decepticon oppression from the Cybertronian resistance.
