So keeping it short , very simple transformation into each mode , plastic feels a lot better than Bovis , joints/ratchets are nice so far , excellent looking figure all round i think .

I would say be care full pulling the lion mane out there on little ball joints so that helps but it's pretty snug back there , same for Predakings head the antennas while they don't feel brittle there's next to no flex in them .

Any questions or comparison photos ask ill try to help .

Thanks for all the recent Leo Dux size comparisions pics. Leo is a bit bigger than I estimated.

If I had any kitbashing putty sculpting skills. I'd cover in that indented V shape on Feral Rex's face plate. To give Feral Rex a full face plate like the TFC Ares has.

I'm holding off on buying this until the last team member is released. maybe a bit longer. Because I have a feeling MMC Will release a reduced price version of Feral Rex in a nice big gift set box. I'm also hoping MMC creates a few extra Getalt heads & includes them in 2nd batch release versions like TFC sometimes does with there gestalts.

2015 is bound to be a huge generations TF toy line year. I'm also holding out on buying MMC Feral rex. Because i'm waiting to see what Hasro reveals at the NYCC Convention in October 2014. I don't want to spend almost $600 for MMC Feral Rex. When I cost spend under $90 for the HasTal Generations Predaking version.

The Predaking head looks really good on the body in hand , i can't wait to have this completed now .

I personally don't think i will need any upgraded heads for this combiner i'm very comfortable with this one .

I mean non of these figures are supposed to be G1 accurate if i was to complain about one head the individual heads wouldn't sit right to me , the way i see it it's about enjoying re imagining of these characters and Rex is killing it when it comes to this.

If you've missed out on Early Bird pricing, then I think it's fair to think that once all figures are released then some companies will offer a reduced cost to pick up the set. I wouldn't expect to cost to be lower than if someone were to pick these up individually at EB pricing. However, considering it's been almost a year and a half waiting game, I can't blame anyone who wasn't able to do this.

Also, when has TFC released extra heads with their 2nd batches? *edited for clarity* TFC has released upgrade kits FOR SALE with second heads, but never second heads JUST TO PUT into 2nd batches of a product for free. MakeToy, however, has released a newly molded head/face plate with the Green Giant set.

Correct. I edited my previous comment to better reflect my thoughts. The comment I was responding to seemed to indicate that TFC releases additional head sculpts and just includes them with secondary releases of their products. Not true. They've released the alternate head in a kit set meant to further enhance the original product, but you still have to purchase said kit.

Im getting my leo dux tomorrow. I love the way he looks. But I do agree the V shaped faceplate blows monkey balls. Hopefully someone will heed the call for a better head that feels right when applied.

Why is the faceplate bothering you guys? The G1 figure had the same thing, which is why MMC did so with theirs:

This is one of my favorite figures iv'e got in the last couple of month , the robot mode is badass , It's not often i keep picking up a figure just to gawk at , so much better in hand .

Another nit pick with the antennas , Predakings head is directly underneath leo dux's , it sits in his chest/stomach , while there is enough room for the antenna when i go to push the head down to lock it in place it would some times catch and when i lifted the head up to check the antennas had moved a little bit forward .

Just be sure to lift the lion head up so you can see in the chest/stomach and make sure they are straight to be on the safe side .

Here's a couple more size comparisons .

Thanks for the more great comparisions pics. I have that Darkwing figure with the Renderform 3rd party head. Darkwing & Leo Dux are the same height in robot mode. I measured Darkwing & he's 7.6 inches tall. The height & bulk makes this a Ultra scale toy.

I'd love to see comparisions pics of all Five Ferocicons next to each other.

Hopefully MMC or another 3rd party creates a well articulated Pretender beast shell. For the R07 MMC Ferocicons Catilla toy.

If Feral Rex's mouth plate looked like the 1986 version. Then I would mind a bit less.

The Feral Rex mouth plate has that overly simplified V indent on the mouth plate. It looks like Feral rex is overly Smilling.

I just need more detail on that V indented mouth on Feral Rex. Like The fanged teeth on the bottom of the mouth like the 1986 Predaking mouth has.

I liked that Cybertron Leobreaker beasty looking robot mouth with all those animal fangs. If Feral Rex had Beasty Fanged teeth on the bottom & top of those V indented mouth lips. I'd love this.

Wish I had some kitbash Putty skills. That indented V mouth looks like it's easy to fill in. I like the TFC Ares Face plate better.

MMC creates great sculpts. Sadly MMC creates ugly,Weird looking head & face sculpts. It seems like one guy does the head sculpts. While another guy does the body sculpt.

These pictures are sexy as hell and make me glad I hit "ship" on my POL the other day. Fortis and Leo will be mine soon.

On the topic of heads, I personally find Rex's head to be fine, but if you disagree, that's fine. I hope someone puts out heads that are more to your liking in the near future.

I'm with you! PSX Still lists April 25. This pic is encouraging for getting close to that release date.

No problem at all guys , the thanks is appreciated if i have time i might take shots of some dynamic poses .

As for Talon . Iv'e said before in this thread he is the one i'm most looking forward to , i think he was the first pre order way back when , so it's safe to say this image has me a bit giddy .

I just hope he's not overly back heavy as i find with most winged action figures .
